Got it. It's not protection from CorrosionFree, it's enhanced protection for vulnerable areas. Makes sense.

Shipping was already free and the bottles were $5.99 with my order, so figured I'd take a chance on them.

I didn't spay my frame or underside with it, just some places around latches in door frames and under hood etc.

i think i’ll try this WD40 trick on my truck due to having about 7 bottles scattered all over the garage. stuff works pretty good for everything from rusty bolts to flea prevention. even repeals mosquitoes!!

I’ve been saying wd40 2x year helps. All my jeep buddies use it on their undercarriage. Plus it’s not going to hurt anything. They use that back in the old days as wax

I got this baby from Harbor Freight along with a gallon of Woolwax:

Going to use some kind of aerosol spray for the inside of the frame and nooks & crannies. Was planning on Fluid Film cans for that but this thread has got me thinking. I was wary of using a Cosmoline type of substance because I don't know this frame's history. As far as I know it has about 6 winters worth of salt wear and as far as I know something like Cosmoline has the potential to trap rust-causing stuff on the inside of the barrier it creates.

I have TRD exhaust came with truck so with rubber plug on sounds same but completes the sound of the exhaust unless you lay into it. But once the rubber plug is off for extra air flow you definitely hear her. Not that it does a lot for gains but it looks badass under the hood. Nicely designed. I have sprint booster v3 too which is helps change shifts. But she definitely turns heads.

Look up Waxoyl recipes, I made some years ago for my old Scout that had some rust issues.

Turpentine ,old motor oil and wax ( I used a couple of the wax toilet rings)

Certainly don’t want to do multiple applications per year — my initial corrosion free purchase was to include the premium application gun and a 5 gallon pail of the product — thinking I have 4 vehicles to do right away — that purchase is $500 plus

I did overlook the buying for multiple vehicles when I suggested using wd40 would save me $475
