Anyone on here sold their vehicle to Vroom/Carvana within the past year? If so, could you kindly tell me your guy’s experiences? TIA!

I sold my 2013 to Carvana in Oct of 2020. Very painless and 6K higher than dealer offer.

I have offered two cars to Carvana, both were met with insult numbers. Autonation paid much more. The purchase experience with AN sucked but they will cut a check for their offer price, no purchase necessary.

They paid much more for my dads 2018 Challenger than carmax, carvana and vroom.

I sold mine to Carmax and got just under $1K KBB but $4K above dealer offer. Filled out forms online and dropped it off at car lot. Immediate check. No hassles with phone calls or countless visitors wanting a test drive or kick the tires.

I sold a 2013 BMW 640i to CARVANA last month and they were $6K over KBB or any local dealer and CARMAX. Super easy and got the direct deposit in my bank the day after they picked it up.

Sold one to carvana, one using KBB, and the Tundra TRD is on the chopping block to Car Zeus which is a local version of carvana. Pretty painless all around.

While on the subject- this is the perfect place to rant.

I find it so stupid that we don't get the tax credit trade in when we sell to an actual company and purchase a new car within a reasonable period. I'm sick of dealers lowballing trades and using the trade in credit for taxes like they're doing you a god damn favor and the money comes out of their pocket.

We sold to both companies. With Vroom we had to threaten a call to the attorney generals office for failure to transfer payment. We sold a vehicle to Carvana....I believe someone on here recommended them. Painless and smooth.

    Good luck

Bought my 20 1794 from Carvana 2 weeks ago. They offered $38K for my 19 Silverado LT. Delivered my Tundra in 3 days. I got to spend all the time I wanted checking out the Tundra. They pulled my Chevy on the transport truck, I signed 3 forms, and away they went. 7 days or 400 miles to return the Tundra for a full refund. Carvana processed all my DMV registration. Easiest car purchase I've ever had.

Carvana scratched the Tundra during transport. The delivery driver documented the gouge/scratch from a transport strap. 8 days later SilverRock sent me an email for where I should take it. Got the estimate Wednesday and SilverRock approved the repair yesterday.

Reason I went with Carvana, it was the only place I could find a decent newer 1794 under $55K near my location. I knew I was taking a risk, but so far I can't complain.

I sold my 2015 Honda CRV to givemethevin.com. They offered me more than I was expecting. The experience was hassle free. The only thing that seemed odd to me was that I had to mail them the signed title before they would mail me a check and pick up the vehicle. My dad sold his Jeep to them about a year prior with no issue, so I went ahead and sent them the title as requested. All went well.

They through out a ridiculously low number for my truck. $5,500 under what dealer would give so I of course passed.

I’ve sold vehicles to both. Carvana generally had the higher offers and by far was easiest. Unless Vroom changed its process it takes a lot longer and the process is a lot more complicated. Carvana is awesome with great service. Vroom contracts out the vehicle pickups and you have to deal with actual paper - Carvana has always had its own drivers and is totally paperless.

I used Carvana in Sep 2021. They had the highest offer compared to Carmax and other car dealers. Process was painless and they didn't even checkout the car. I think the entire process took 5 mins after they showed up.
