When I was spending time on knife forums, there was a shop thread. I thought it was cool. Here’s mine, it’s a total shit show. But, it goes to hell during projects, and I can’t afford a house with a lot measured in acres. What do you have?

I love shop and tool threads! Can always find cool ideas and never seen things :D this is my shop 40x60 out back, bought the house specifically because of it. I can afford in floor space to be lazy about things, but I also want to get it insulated and because of that I haven't done anything to add shelves or stuff attached to the walls. I'd also like to get heat and AC and a sink eventually, and my breaker is full after running 220 for some tools... Lots to do, but I'm a combination of too busy and too lazy so for now it's a list :D

Took 1.5 years of looking at houses with the requirement that it had a shop. The wife and I lived in a travel trailer and rented shop space since that was the priority level for us. A year and a half after starting looking, and nothing meeting the requirements, she found this house the instant it went on the market and less than a week after it was listed we had the offer in. Took a lot of patience and effort and planning to pull it off!

Good on you both! I love it when a plan comes together - since you like tools, I've been looking for a cool number I built a while back.
