    More on the way
OK fellas, I will be looking to make my first aftermarket wheel purchase and I would like to get some insight. I will most likely be doing a small lift or level with the hope of cleanly running a set of 295 to 34" a/t size tire.

    1.Should I be looking a 18" or 20"? pros or cons?
2.Who are the higher quality wheels manufacturers?
    3. leaning toward an all black, but it will be going on a white 1794...any suggestions?

Just depends on the look you're after. 18's will give you a much better ride being you have more sidewall on the tire. More sidewall = more tire flex = better ride.

If you're going to offroad, get 18's. If you're not going to offroad, still get 18's.

Larger wheel = more $ in tires
Larger wheels = less sidewall protection

As far as wheels go, I'm partial to FN BFD's. They're a simple design, black, and are only made for Tundras.

I was really set on the walker evans 504sb. Love those wheels. If I ever do get a different set I will most likely be these. Definitely check these out!

So uh, screw these guys. 20's all the way!

Seriously though, 18's for all the reasons already mentioned here. On top of better cost/performance/ride, I personally think more tire looks better.

I'm weird, I'm a big fan of OE 18" wheels. I would try to get a hub-centric wheel at least though. Lug-centric wheels place a lot of shear stress on the studs that they weren't designed for. I also prefer keeping a wheel with a high positive offset to place load on the wheel bearings more evenly. If I was going to go aftermarket I'd probably go with the SCS wheels.

    17s are for cars
20s are for pimpin rides out

    18s are for Tundras

For me it's a personal choice ... If I was more of a off-road type of guy I would have gone with 18's, but since I will rarely if ever go off roading (bought my 4x4 for trips to the snow) I went with 20's. Sadly though, tires for 20" wheels cost more. Still have my 18" OEM wheels that perhaps I'll mount some off-road tires for just that purpose.

I have Fuel wheels and am perfectly happy with them (except when it comes time to clean them)

Black wheels with alittle silver contrast is my preference because all black wheels just look like dirty wheels to me. There's really no right and wrong. It's all a personal thing and what's most important is you like what you end up with.

Good luck, look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Not sure 17s work with rotars

    18s for sure vs 20

All black with no silver bits is my choice.

Go for something different than everybody else.

Having owned three white Tundras, black will look badass.

Methods and icon makes 17s that fit with our brakes.

Also everyone and their mom has black on white, something different would be gunmetal, bronze etc etc. @CM-LENNY went gun metal gray on white and it looks tits.

    You misunderstood

    "Different" wasn't referring to color.

Gun metal sounds nice. Not a bronze fan though.

My mom doesn't have black rims either.

Actually false. They make them on a 6x139.7 bolt pattern. We see them on a lot of 4runners, silverados, and tacomas

+1 to SCS wheels. The SR8's are sweet! He has plans to release more this year as well.
