Got around to mounting and wiring a 40” kc light bar behind the grille. Fits the opening width of the trd pro grille perfect. I’ve never installed one before and total install took about 1 hr. The light bar came with all the hardware needed for install.

 

No....they are shot at 13K miles. Toyota springs are soft and very weak.

What you go with George? I know u said u ordered already. I love my Alcanns and they make a huge difference in improvement.

 

I went with the Alcans with 1/2 lift and the other 1.5 will come from the shackles. I'm still irritated that mine are flat already at 13K miles.

 

Ahh you'll get over it once you put those bad boys on and realize it just gave you an excuse to make a very nice improvement. I'm very confident you will love them, just like I do mine. They're a good company to work with too.

 

That's good. I went back and forth for a few days trying to figure out which ones to get. They will be here around the end of Dec.....not bad at all. They should work well for my rear bumper weight as well as when we pull our travel trailer.

 

I was going for obnoxious and I believe I hit the mark. I have a lot of tree filled back roads near me and it’s nice to be able to light the sky up.

I wasn’t sure I’d be able to run the ditch lights all the time but I aimed them down a bit and have yet to have anyone flash me.

My neighbor has a SR5 work truck with steel rims and he’s got black covers (one piece hubcaps). I think they go by the name Wheel Skins. He got his off EBay.

Look like this, unless you would like to go the PVD a chrome route for some winter bling.

 

I wouldn't think twice leaving them alone for the Winter setup, my last Winter truck had Plastic Hub Caps.

Installed factory Black out emblem kit and removed sr5 emblem

 

I used self etching primer, then Graphite Duplicolor wheel paint (black is also available), then 2K automotive clear. Held up fantastic.

 

Smiled because mine is basically worth the msrp yet. Which is 52K and 1yr old with 17k. and stumbled across what I believe a 2022 1794 costs. Local dealership around me which I believe is Toyota mafia because they showing about 10 2022 on website but sr5 crews 57-58k but this only sticker I could see. No prices yet on Toyota. I’m wonder what we all probably want to know is pro 437hp 583 tq prices. My guess 65-70k take a look air suspension nice. Also what puzzles me the 1794 model when you look at Toyota is the only one that the bed is longer. Take a look. 8’ bed crew max in the making like the king ranch ford has? Maybe My guess is in 2-3 yrs is maybe diesel Toyota wants to deliver but probably can’t and all electric models coming. If US allows, I see the others ford Chevy dodge crying about Toyota and a diesel truck but it all political bullshit in this country. We’re way behind in technology compared to others. But anyway here’s a price tag if wondering.

 

If not worry just spray paint black easy touching up or get the sandblasted. I forgot about wheels skins until I seen your post. That works too. Also Don’t worry about silver it brings out the lunar color. Lol I’m starting to like that color but yet to see when I’m driving around. Put a TRD skid plate on front I bet it’ll really pop.

Super common! We have an extremely weak rear end…… I’m at 48k and I am almost flat.

Attempted to drill out the rivets on the spare tire guides which was a failure. Next tried to use an air hammer which worked, but very slow since my 26 gallon compressor couldn't keep up. After about 45 mins I threw in the towel and went to Midas thinking they could use a plasma cutter and have them cut off in less than five minutes. They were able to fully remove them using their Snapon air hammer and a pry bar in about fifteen minutes. Total cost was $15 from them and totally worth it. Went home and sprayed some flat black paint on the area and successfully fit my full size spare 295/70/18 Cooper AT3 XLT.

 

Ibused a recip saw. went through like a hot knife through butter then a quick hit with vthe grinder and some black rustoluem.

 

Nice. Looks like a clean job!
