When someone is tailgating me in inclement weather, I like to slide out of the road groove to pick up more water in the tire spray. Watching them put their wipers on high and back off makes me happy.

 

Having a few beers on another perfect night in my yard. No mosquitos to worry about. Just the moon, a lot of tropical plants, and my dogs.

We sent one of the new apprentices to find the pipe stretcher the other day. 2 of the other journeymen sent him to the next till one finally told him. Good times.

Lol, I kept it on the key for about 6 month, really got tired of scratching myself with it every time I would reach in my pocket to get my keys.

 

I enjoy seeing the poor trailer park trash a '95 Cavalier get pulled over.

Actually, I just enjoy seeing anyone driving like an idiot get pulled over.

 

Absolute best one I ever saw was on the freeway that runs around Edmonton. I can't remember what the guy was driving but he was just flying until he got stuck behind some slow traffic, so he was just ahead of me in the other lane. This black Impala came up behind him really fast, sat on his bumper for a few seconds then hit the lights. I was practically cheering, it was so perfect.

 

Working. I can't sit still. If I don't do some sort of task outside or in the garage once a day, I feel like a garbage can.

 

Gotta love Karma Cops.

Coming home from a long weekend in Los Angeles we came upon an accident. Traffic was backed up forever and everyone was either just sitting or moving at a snails pace. Some A hole decided she is gonna drive in the right side shoulder/emergency lane and goes flying by me. I said to my passenger " Damn it, where's a cop when you need one". Well low an behold if a cop didn't fly right behind her w/lights and sirens a blazing, it was classic! When I finally caught up to her and the cop as he was ticketing her, I just drove by an smiled..
Justice at its finest right there.

 

Those guys get mad at me when I drive half on the shoulder to block them from doing that.

 

Merging hwy to hwy around here is just a shit show I swear the stupidest mfrs in the world

 

I went to a doctors office today, a pulmonary specialist. I typically hate going to doctor offices. Today, the young lady at the desk was exceptionally on top of things and very polite. The icing on the cake was she is beyond pretty, which is never a bad thing.

The doctor was extraordinary as well. He had humor. He explained everything well, asked a lot of questions and listened close to my explanations. He had a pair of students following him around and at the end I told them they're with a great doctor, I've never learned so much from one.

Its a shame that specialist doctors don't do regular practice. I need a primary doctor and would pick him no questions asked.

 

I love it, I do the same thing...hehehe

 

A freshly washed truck…

 

A clean truck looks nice, but not as nice as a freshly dirtied truck!

 

Got a good one today - an unexpected UPS package shows up. Inside, I find a bunch of autographed drag boat gear from my 8 year old son’s favorite driver! We had tried to buy a shirt a couple weeks ago at the World Finals but they were all out at the time. My son was bummed he couldn’t get his favorite guy’s shirt so we sent the race team a message on social media asking to let us know when then get more shirts so we could buy one. This was their response -


If anyone is looking for a race team to cheer for, these people are as good as they come.
