Hey all..my tundra has always done this since I bought it 7 years ago..it will start n die. Now it took a bit to figure out it was only doing this when the key was cold..if I hold it in my hand or blow hot air on it for a few seconds it starts n runs just fine..summer months is fine.ive actually put my key in the freezer and the tried to start it..start n die..warm the key..start n run...WTF..anybody???? I'm afraid what ever it is will fail one day and strand me or cause an accident...

At least you found the problem. That's some good troubleshooting.

It is annoying..just don't leave keys in the cold. Just wondering why it does it.. I'm going to find out what my resistance is on my key and just disconnect those two wires running up to the switch and put in some resistors to match the resistance ohm of Mikey and that will completely bypassed that I've done it to several vehicles in the past that has problems with their vats systems
