Trd Pro front grill lookalike

I have a 2019 Sr5 TRD off road and looking for a TRD pro grill that is not so pricey! They’re around $350-$500 original price. Anyone know if I can get one that is almost identical to it that doesn’t cost that much?

 

A used one. I haven’t seen any aftermarket pro grilles. I’m sure they’re out there.

there are tons of aftermarket Tacoma pro grilles…. Well, most from China for $100 a pop

 

Nothing like buying a 40K plus truck and only wanting to spend $100 on a fake knockoff grill lol. Just my .02

Are we talking the horizontal chrome bar grille...I like that one best.

Would pay the 5-600...are you folks telling me you can only buy them used?...not sold as a new upgrade?

Well, I am not far away...so that is a start.
I have not taken delivery of this Tundra yet, hopefully within weeks I will.

You should be able to find that grille pretty easily from a member. That's not a popular grille, most people hate all that chrome.

I ordered my TRD pro factory grill from Sparks parts, I wanted to get one while they are still available I thought these parts may get pretty rare in the future?

He restocks from time to time if you can wait. It'll come with a black bottom surround and you can pop that out, and swap it over to yours. It cost me under 200 if I remember correctly to get it from him

anyways, f—k em. MCautoparts has it, and the only issue I’ve heard of is the glass sensor cover isn’t actually glass and was made sorta cheaply, but they’ve since fixed it I hear, better quality now. It’s under 300 for the grill and sensor cover.

as for the Chinese parts comment, such an insane idea since I can tear apart one of these trucks, or any tv we all own, or our smartphones or computers we used to comment on this forum, and find Chinese parts everywhere. Cheap Chinese parts. It’s why an iPhone is $1200 and not $2000 if made in the US. So I’ll go ahead and save money.

I didn't realize it wasn't one piece

I ended up getting a super white truck so let me think on it, not sure if I like the chrome against the white as much as I did the army green...I am realizing my truck kind of has a black and white look in it's stock form.

 

Put it on today, like it more than I thought I would.

Fits fine.
It was easier to take the insert off the aftermarket one than the OEM one, but I have no worries about it falling loose since there are screws to keep it in place as well as the plastic clips. The actual "T O Y O T A" letter had 1 small chip but it's hard to notice so I didn't make a fuss. FWIW I have a 2014 SR, so I don't have to deal with any sensors or whatever being blocked off or messed up by this grill. Other than that, I don't see why I should spend $350 on a piece of plastic when I can get the same thing for $180 shipped.
