NSV lightbar

Wanted to give a shout out, my NSV lightbar crapped out after about a year, woke up after a heavy rain storm and saw the center section of my lightbar illuminated. Went out to truck and raised hood, lightbar was toast moisture had shorted out internals and nothing worked properly. Disconnected from battery. Contacted company not expecting much since it was a year since purchase. But they immediately gave me option to send them the lightbar and they would mail a replacement or buy a replacement and be credited when they received my return. I wasn't happy since I only had a few hours of use in a year. But want to commend them on their excellent customer service.

 

At the price of the light bar I'm very amazed they did that. Was it headlight revolution?

so I watched the install video an people complaining about hood mount raising when driving! do the other brands people installed have the same problems! also he came back an said he needed to add weather striping around it because of water entering into the area around it !!

 

It does seem to push the outer edges of the hood bulge a little on each side, maybe less than an 1/8th. There is a slight gap, but never had an issue with anything coming loose.

 

I’ve been thinking of picking one of these up but this has me second guessing, especially living in Oregon.

Good to see HR CS is good though.

I noticed that. I had the BD S8 in my cart with the discount applied when the discount suddenly went away. I think someone beat me to the last one in stock. Sad day. I’m going to hold off on the NSV for now.

The BD S8 is a lot nicer....25,400 lumens compare to the NSV at 9,000
