2 beers deep Festerw is a silver tongued son of a bitch. 3 and over has diminished returns.

2 is also where I do my best mechanical and carpentry work.

I remember those days back in junior high. I too so desperately wanted a BMX bike and had to make do with my banana seat bicycle. My friend Jack had one. I was jelly.

Mine was about $350 so it was 18 yards. But the honey-do’s were free. And everyone was a repeat customer.

Just passed a semi-truck loaded with brand spanking new tacomas and rav4s.

Pretty neat to watch the front suspension do its thing going over bumps at 70mph without the wheels turning! Looked a lot like a video that @Darkness posted once upon a time

Hr from the company just called to confirm my being there for the interview.

She said that they were booked today, but only one showed up and that she was excited I was attending. Not sure if that's a good sign or bad.

    Thoughts?

    Got a pulse? You're hired! :D

I would read the Glassdoor reviews to see what others in your pay grade/experience have to say.

I mowed lawns all summer to save for a Diamondback. All my fitness had BMX bikes, while I had a Huffy mountain bike and they made fun of me. So I bought the Diamondback Skindog and it was stolen from my garage like 6 months later

I had a Diamondback too, my friends made fun of it. All my friends had cooler GTs (interceptor, mach 1, performer, etc), Dyno VFR, Mongoose (before they became a Target brand), Redline, Robinson, Schwinn Predator, PK Ripper, or Haro or Elf or some other cool late 80s shit. Back when mag wheels were a thing. DK necks, Power-lite bars, 3 piece cranks, pit bull brakes, arraya wheels, flite pads, that was cool kid shit.

Think I crushed the interview. Manager and supervisor were adamant about ensuring an educated work force.

Feels right. Will know in the next few days.

Remember if they low ball you on pay that you hold all the cards. You don't need the job but they need you, don't be afraid to walk away if necessary.

Anyone using security cameras around their house? Curious what people are using. I'm leaning towards the Ring Stick Up Cam with solar charger.

I use AvertX, hard wired, DVR etc. It's fine I guess, I don't want to say it's awesome because I don't have enough experience with this stuff. Reminds me, I sould clean and tune the cams... I have solved several mysteries with it. One was a shattered rear window on the 4R. I also use Ring.

Pops and I have a running joke about Jerry Reed.

Every once in a while we'll see each other, and say "Son, I need you to take me to a choke and puke to stuff some groceries down my neck."

Is that where choke and puke came from? Is that a regional thing? One of my good buddies in scouts; that was one of his dads favorite sayings, also “are you guys going trolling for skanks?”

West TX is the start of the SW.
    East TX is basically Louisiana.
And the state was in the CSA.
So yeah it's the south and the southwest lol
