OEM Bed Mat - Anyone using it?

Anyone using the Toyota bed mat? I am getting my Tundra with a spray in liner but was thinking of adding the mat for protection. Seeing it runs for like $86 it seems lik a safe bet.

 

I've got a spray in liner and still use a bed mat as added protection. Figure it doesn't hurt to do so, especially while I'm dragging something across the bed. I highly recommend having one!

 

I have line x and use my old bed mat from my Taco if I need to keep stuff from sliding around. For the most part, line x has taken a beating and not had the need to add extra protection.

 

I need to get one probably... Every time I accelerate, the bricks and sheet metal slam/slide around in the bed.

 

Ouch, I don't like the sound of that.

 

Yea, I like my bed mat, it's a little easier on my old knees and helps keep things from sliding around.

 

Linex + bed mat user here. Like the combo of the linex protection all around but the mat to help things not slip. Also not certain but it seems like line-x could scratch stuff that's put in the bed, it is pretty abrasive material. Bed mat prevents that.

 

I have a bed mat as well, it's not OEM but functions just the same. I bought it used from a friend and figured I would give it a try. I love it. Even if I had Line-X, I would still go with one. It keeps stuff in place and protects the bed and your cargo. Win win.

 

Yep I have linex and the tundra bed mat. It keeps stuff from sliding around, easier on the knees and a little more protection for the bed. At 86 bucks I felt like I couldn't go wrong. Plus it says Tundra on it LOL

 

I have one and the spray in factory liner. I feel like the liner may scratch whatever I have in the bed so I like the bed mat as added protection. Plus it keeps things from slipping around. Can't go wrong with it.

I guess I need to get with the game... I guess I am going to at least buy a mat.

I have the spray in liner, and factory rubber mat they work as a great team

 

No spray in just the OEM bed mat. Helps keep things from sliding around and when you get it really really muddy, spill something nasty, etc. just drag it out and hose it down.

 

Mine is lined and I still have the bed mat as not to destroy the lining. I negotiated my bed mat free, due to an issue with my brakes.

 

I have the factory spray in liner in mine and I went with a Westin bed mat I purchased through Amazon. It was cheaper then what I could get an OEM for and looks good and has been durable so far.

 

I went with a full bedrug setup. Granted I have a tonneau cover so that's what made the most sense for me.

 

For you guys with the OEM bed mat are you just getting them from your local Toyota dealer? I want one.

i have been wanting to get one but the cheapest i can find is $120 from my local dealer. They are $86 from Roman but $61 in shipping.

They can be had for 86$ if you search online but then shipping gets you and your back up to or greater then the local dealer pricing, that's what led me to purchase the Westin mat I posted above.

 

I looks like that is for the long bed, not the short bed. Just an FYI

That's interesting, under questions a guy asked if it would fit a 6.5ft bed and someone replied yes it fit his perfectly. Isn't the short bed 5.5ft?

 

Some people consider a short bed 6ft compared 2 an 8ft. Westin only has two part # for the tundra, the one I posted above for the 6.5ft and then one for the 5.5ft bed.
