So, I'd be down for a Daytrip maybe on the 18th to another location. I've been told that i have no overnight permission till mid Feb. Would anybody want to get together for a day trip on the 18th of December?? I don't have a location, but maybe somewhere in between IE and San Diego area?? Thoughts? or am i just a Troll????

The only place I know “in between” IE and SD is Thomas Mountain. If @nishibot and @Mrs. Nishibot can make it, they led it before and it’s an say, fun run.
Looks good!! Were you checking over their shoulders the whole time, making sure they dropped the headliner and missed your airbags? And, have you decided what you’ll carry up there?

We were out there a couple of weeks ago. Trails were rutted AF, was stuck at 15mph cuz I was behind a pretty much bone stock LC and the last part of the trail, our Tundras barely fitted lol. Took the back road to Primm then to Vegas, back to Barstow for a night run and camped out there.

@Sunnier how Rouse Truck Trail when you went?

Did you run it up or down?

We could possibly run it up to Thomas Mountain to make it a little longer of a run.

We ran it down, ending at the fire station like that time I did it with you. It wasn’t bad, no deep ruts. Probably be more fun going up than down. Plus, that fire station would be a good meet spot.

    Accurate :anonymous:

Side note. Cut the end of my exhaust so I won’t hit that again. Not sure if I would have hit the bumper into the bedside more or less with them cut. Exhaust tip did have a sweet dent on the underside of it lol

Overall a nice bumper. I'm just not a fan of the tree saver. I've been through stuff (Steel pass for one) where that would hang up. If I'm gonna hit that part of the truck on something, I deserve the ensuing repair cost.

    Hahaha.

That’s a good point though. Definitely adds to the already wide width.

    I agree Warren.
It’s looks like a nice bumper but I’ve never been a fan of that exoskeleton style.
A single tube that follows the bedside and goes up to the wheel well is the most I would consider.
