Installed a tonneau for the New England winter!

 

TRD CAI (bling factor)
Front and rear TRD Sway bars
RCI gas tank armor (I can’t believe the Platinum had zero!)

 

got her fully protected now, feeling super good now that I can not only lock up my guns in the long box locker but full time monitoring plus the whole unlock/lock/start from my iphone too and apparently Toyota JUST now released a harness for the system so no cutting on her just installation and connections to make it fully operational

 

1k mile oil change

How is the ride after installing TRD sway bars?

 

Nice one. Damn good eating.

 

Great! It’s a little stiffer but I wanted them for towing and handling when I’m hauling my dirt bike on the hitch hauler. Also the truck handles much better with my 37’s and my 8” lift on the hills and freeway driving in the mountains.

 

Do you have any more info on the Toyota harness?

After ordering my Tundra on June 28th, it finally got here Nov 16th. Installed blackout emblems & a Softopper. Still got some work to do, looking to upgrade bumpers, wheels and rims,, exhaust, seat covers… and I’m sure more. Seems like a growing list the more I see what everyone else has done.

Removing the Previous owners handiwork. 2.25” of lift spacer in the front down to .25” new oem coils and TRD bilsteins. Sitting at 23.5” hub to fender.

 

Got some new shoes!

 

That’s where I got my Tundra, great spot, just took a long time to get the truck, but understood all the delays.

I can ask, the dealer/installer was the one that said they got it last second just by pure luck as for the 21' Tundra they are new if I understood correctly

One thing he pointed out about the harness is that the wiring in Toyotas is not solder friendly as they use aluminum ?

 

I received the vinyl tint to smoke mine, any tips on installation? I have a baby soap/water mix for application after watching
several Youtube vids

 

I paid pro’s to have it done…..i didn’t want to mess it up and have to redo it.

 

-15F, my truck doesn’t fit in my garage and the power cord to my block heater cracked and shorted out. Fun times replacing it when your hands freeze to metal.

Installed some RC Lights, came with RC logo covers but I prefer it off

 

Installed oem tailgate power lock.. easy install! Only took about 20 minutes

 

how does it ride with the sway bars?

 

Test fit the @abomb60 switch block and actually got the rear window switch connected using the acessorides harness. Got lucky with fishing the harness through the dash and console and only took 5 minutes to hook it up.

 

Washed the road warrior plus off my paint. Saved my paint but I don't think I'll use it next time. It's a hassle.

 

Big day tomorrow for my audio installer. All packed up ready to get it done.

 

Finally got my lights installed on my roof rack. 42 inch light bar and 6 pods. All by Diode Dynamics.

 

Then why didn’t you get a SmartCap?

 

How hard was it around the “fin” on the tail lights? (The little part that flares out)
