Been working on these to get them into a production form for a long time. Finally got them complete and all the machined parts to make it happen. Tundra lower uniball conversions, chromoly uniball cups, fk uniballs, stainless misalignments and custom 5/8" 12 point bolt.

Fits 2000-2003, with a 2004-2006 version coming soon.

Might be interested in a set of these for crackie. Need to replace the El cheapo lower ball joints anyways.

I was hesitant to post the price since I could see it changing in the future, but for now, he says the 2000-2003 set are USD$550 for a pair, and the 2004-2006 set are supposed to be in the range of USD$550-600 for a pair

 

Well, seems to me this might be the best upgrade available. I'm not swayed if it's legit. Especially if it's serviceable.

 

So what's the purpose of these? Stronger?

 

Nobody knows. We just see "made for first gen" and have the incontrolable urge to buy.



Stronger and the joint has better tolerance to work at different angles than a regular ball joint. Plus these can make noises as they wear or get dirty. We like noises... maybe

 

Haha when the unis start talking on the 4runner(when I finally drive it) it’s like omg, where is the cat in the engine bay?!
I wonder how easily these get dirty and how easy they are to clean and relube

 

Looking forward to the 04-06 release! Hopefully soon since I need new lbj’s.

 

Wait is the lower ball joint split in 04? I thought the joint with the wider footprint for the 4 bolts was 05/06.

 

Possibly an upgrade for the double cabs?

 

My truck had LBJ recall work done in 2007. I don't know if it came from the factory with the smaller footprint and the recall upgraded them, couldn't figure that out on Toyota's site. When I did my LBJs last year, the part number for my VIN gave me the 05-06 LBJs. They were identical to the ones I took off.

 

Status on these? I want a set for my 2000 2wd.
