I've never even heard of someone getting a ticket for not parking "within" the lines of a parking space. Is this a public (as in city owned) parking lot? If not, how does LE have any authority to ticket someone in a private lot?

I do agree with intentionally parking outside the lines is no bueno.

I have, but it was only a $20 ticket. I paid it because I knew what I was doing. Technically, there wasn't a parking space where I left the vehicle...so. Public lot, non-fee usage.

In a larger city, there may've been a history of people not parking in an efficient fashion thus that city creates a parking enforcement position. We've all been in parking lots where one person parks all jacked up and askew forcing us to search for parking elsewhere.

It's their lot, they can make the rules. There's probably even wording in the Terms of Usage for that lot dictating something akin to parking within the lines.

    When in Rome....

Round these parts, you'll return to a truck filled with/covered in garbage for parking like a dick.

I prefer to let the public handle it, but frivolous laws are here to stay.

It looks like blue cars mirror is over the line. If you would have parked between the lines, that guy would never have been able to get in his car. People that design parking lots with tiny spots like this should be flogged.

yeah you could argue that point, the blue car was over the line so you also had to park over the line

hahaha I actually did the same thing, got the axle dump from a 2.5 gen and welded it onto my cherry bomb and cut it in the same spot, works great!

Took out my ball hitch. Only use it to pull a trailer a few times a year. Seen enough pics of Tundras with bent frames because they get rear ended and have ball hitches in. Who knows if that's actually a thing, but makes me feel better

That will eventually rust. The ball mount being in 24/7 slowly grinds away the paint or powder coating from the receiver and eventually they both rust. Ask me how I know from a former truck…

I just got a tundra and got an aluminum ball mount this time and won’t be leaving it in.

Took “Storm” in to TRU Automotive in Denver, CO to get new LCA, Total Chaos gussets, SPC cam bolts, skinny 35” (285/75/18) Falken Wildpeak AT3’s and BMC done this past week.

Colter and his team did an awesome job with all of it. Welds, grinding and paint were done well. Thank you for the recommendation @fundra_goes_west.

I brought all the parts with me since I planned on doing most of the work my self but plans changed once we had a newborn in August .

Pics of the new cam bolts, gussets and the BMC.

Walked out to go do my site checks at 7 this morning. Found this. After putting the spare on, I filled the tire back up and cleaned all the rocks out of the tread but couldn't find what caused the leak. Gotta take it in on Tuesday to get fixed, I'll let them find the leak.

Spent the afternoon doing a pad swap all the way around to the Powerstop towing pads. It was stopping straight with no vibration and the rotors all looked like they had enough meat for one more round. I'd love to have done the rotors too but she's not driven enough to warrant the extra money. We bought it in 2015 with 87k and she's almost at 110k. I weighted the rims and tires and they were 91 lbs each. I just want it to stop better with the plus size tire.

The weather is getting a little nippy up here, so I finally put in my block heater today. Truck has been starting just fine, but I figured any help I can give it on cold starts Is better than nothing.
Easy job. Like all the threads said it takes longer to route the cord than it does to install the heater.
