I just sold this truck as it was only a single cab and it needed a body refresh since it was getting rust and I didn’t have the time to mess with it. Not a HD but it had the 351 with only 113,000 miles

 

That’s my favorite Ford body style. I had a ‘96 F150…loved it.

 

A small amount of hope/faith in humanity was maintained today. That's all I can say.

 

That's a gorgeous truck, perfect amount of lift too.

 

Sometimes it is the little things. My story from this afternoon... I just spent two hours cleaning up leaves and needles from my neighbor's trees. I don't mind doing my yard, that's kinda the unwritten rule. You gotta manage what God puts in your property. But when your tree put 1-2" of needles on the sidewalk I use and so many leaves it clogs the street drains...you get your yard care guy to clean it up. He's too old and feeble to do it himself, but he's well off...so yeah, pay the extra hour and have your hired hand take care of it.

Anyway, I'm kinda festering about it as the light fades and it gets cold and he drives by. We have a nice chat for a minute and he apologizes for the mess. That's all I needed...now I'm happy again being a helpful neighbor. To top it off, another neighbor took the hint and came out of his cave with his leaf blower. Maybe our cul-de-sac won't look like a giant compost pile by the end of the weekend.

Now for a drink...or three

 

Plus I got to buy this…life is good
