I was once looking for the same part on rock auto and was hoping to find an aisin brand one. If you search the oem part number (4140034013) in the part number search tab, you get the same two results plus one aisin part; SAT020. But the picture looks like an elocker actuator. Searched google and even the aisin product announcement shows it fits 00-06 tundra front but again the picture looks like an elocker actuator... I wonder what the deal is there and why it shares the same oem part number as the front ADD actuator?

Which airbag module part # did you get, the older, superseded one or the newer one the dealer said you have to use?

Left the house dark, and early this morning. 4:30 am with pops in the passengers seat. Finally made it to e-town. Pulled into a Hardee's for some grub. Manager went outside to get a schmoke break. Came back, and told us our tire was flat. Pops, and I finished out meal, and then went outside. The manager wasn't kidding! I'd run over the only screw in the road in this town!
    20211115_071812.jpg

Pops, and I busted out the kit from the drivers side, and started changing tires.
    20211115_072611.jpg
    20211115_073323.jpg

Three different people came out, and asked if we needed help. Told them we had it under control. Had that tire changed in 10 minutes. 25°F here in e-town.

Moseyed to Swope on the spare. Asked if they could fill up my tire, then got my paperwork, and handed them the green. They filled up the tires lickety split, and the guy asked me about the silver truck. He explained he had a 2001 tundra that he drove. Talked shop for a few minutes. He took me inside, and showed me their order screen. Toyota paid the dealership about $10,800 to do the recall.

I showed pops the piles of rusted frames, and the new ones scheduled to be replaced. He was kinda shocked at how many they'd done.

Pops, and I left swope to visit the replica Vietnam War memorial wall.

    20211115_081335.jpg

I snapped one picture of the underside of the truck, one picture of the bits/pieces, and one of them both together.

I've got a long haul back to the house. Truck sounds better, and I'm very, very thankful I fixed the heater....

Look at that purty frame. That's a big step up and some added life to the truck. Enjoy!

New lower control arms, and cams too!

Old carrier bearing was totally shot. Super glad I had them change that out too! They didn't change the front brake lines to stainless steel lines I provided. Said something was off with the threads on them.

Looks like new metal brake lines down the whole truck!

    Beyond stoked!

Messaged @dirtydeeds about an exhaust system for this truck. This is what Keith had to say below.

You will see a gain of 30hp and 30tq to the rear wheels over stock with:

    jba long tubes
    2.5” mid pipes
    2.5” x pipe and Catback
    2.5” tailpipes.

we build an entire kit with all of the above that ranges from $3k- $3700

Something to chew on for the future....

It's rowdy. Looks like all the rubber bushings I had replaced (engine/trans mounts, body mounts, etc) are dry rotted. Truck feels a little schmoover

    Seat belt? Optional.

I'll go through and take pics of each part in the coming days. Need sleep.

I know, I saw the new suspension components on it all shiny. Very nice. And the new carrier bearing is undoubtedly contributing to the smoothness of the ride. Really happy for you.

What's the plan for the old rockers on the cab?

Don't have anything set in stone yet. Discovered some bubbling on the drivers side too. Both sides need replacement.

Will take the truck to the same shop that did the body work on the sequoia after the deer hit us. Get a quote for them doing the cab, and front end.

Also get a quote for the whole truck. Bed included. Think I will keep on the lookout for a whole new bed.

    That would totally rule.

I regret a little bit that I’m such a wimp on paint that I’m keeping mine white.

I fought myself on this one but I just couldn’t justify the paint cost. I want a truck which I don’t have to treat like a lady.
