See his color matched valance below the grill? That's what I was talking about when we match the bumper caps. I'm thinking another $100 because i probably wouldn't need them sand blasted.

I feel like I need a couple more jobs, or maybe just order more credit cards before I write off the ones Ive already filled up.

Maybe take a long term low/no interest loan out out with @joonbug ???

@Almaboy I've seen that and still on the fence if I wanna color match the valance. I kinda like the black for contrast. But I'm sure it can be done.

Look in the mail and I'm sure there's a Capital One card you can apply for to afford more mods.

It has been bugging me. What's been buggin even more is the bumper caps but Jose and i are going in on a package deal to remedy that situation. I want to do it all at the same time so the colors are the same

 

Several mods ordered this week. I put a deposit down to have a custom one off grill made by Gravel Empire. Note sure if I want to do the double 40" bar set up of something more simple. I also like the look of just two 10" bars in the middle of the grill. The two 40" bars seems to much. I will be doing a different logo at the center and using a different profile of leds. But this give you an idea of what I'm looking at doing. I'll post the cad renderings when I get them back. Thoughts on this?

 

I also ordered Auburns limited slip differential for the rear end. This will be installed in a few weeks when I have my gears swapped with 4.88s.
I got in my rear fox reservoir shocks that were built for my lifted application. I wanted to have the black reservoirs match the front 2.5 coil overs.
About to order atlas expedition leaf springs with the added leaf. This will eliminate the rear blocks and add another 500lbs capacity for when I haul a trailer. They take 8-10 weeks to make though.

 

I ordered all the components for my retro headlight build. It's going to be a lot of work but worth it when I'm done. The projectors will be custom etched with a design I want. Going to be doing demon eyes, RGB backlight halos, smoked reflectors, switch back lighting and iPhone controlled RGB lighting. I'll post a write up after I do the install. I have TRD pro headlights to replace my Platinum headlights during the build process.

 

I don't know man. I like the black valance. @Mat1018 rig looks awesome. Just how I want it to look with the black accents and tires/wheels. Ties it all together. White looks good too, but I think I'm staying with black.

 

I agree. His does look badass. So does yours. I think I'm gonna shoot for the white so we can tell our trucks apart when we are sitting in the same parking lot....or in the woods

guys i have white too... and i had this issue and stayed with the black valance on my 2nd gen...

but you gotta remember with a black trd pro grill AND blacked out heads and fogs (retro or just BHLM and the black fog bezels).. thats plenty of black contrast..

i just don't think you can go wrong one way or the other... i think both are dope
