Our yard guy talks my damn ear off and I can't understand half of what he says so I just listen for my name and try to mimic his facial expressions. Anyways, this morning, I told him I had to finish working out so I could get the house cleaned. His response was, "Isn't that a woman's job?" Mrs. Bandito works 6 blocks away but I swear she has the hearing of a golden retriever. I could almost feel her tense up.

Last time I saw him, he said "Weren't you a Navy Seal?" I said "No." He then said "You told me you were a Navy Seal." I told him I would have NEVER claimed to be anything that I wasn't and I was a broadcaster. He gave me a suspicious look and just nodded.

This guy does a lot of lawns in town and, like I said, is a talker. That night, I tell Mrs. Bandito and she said "I've been wondering why people keep asking me what you really did in the service..." I think this is why people don't mess with our house.

 

I'm used to pissing off women over literally nothing, so that's fine.

Yep, that’s where I’m at. I try to look tough and mysterious on my morning walks so nobody talks to me.
