Just started hearing squeaking sounds coming from my 2001 front drivers wheel well as I drive slowly creep along a bumpy dirt road. I can also hear it much less loud as I creep down a paved road. Any ideas??!!

Could be a few things, but I'd wager it's your lower control arm bushings. Have those ever been serviced during the truck's life?

I'm pretty sure you have to press out the bushings to re-grease them.

I read somewhere around here that the front ends on these trucks need rebuilding due to age. Des2mtn has good advice.

Metal to metal squeak or dry rubber squeak? They lead down two different roads.
