And also the $7k hit to buy the blower. Still tempting though...

Yeah, 7K not including the install. I've got Viper Racing looking into an installer for me in SoCal. The videos that record the whine of that bad boy is awesome. I miss the 500+ HP I get with my Tesla. To have something of that nature in the LR TRD Pro - wow. You can't take the money with you.......

Hah I went from a Model S to this and loving the V8. All my green friends who were singing my praises for buying a Tesla are grumbling now hehe.

Decided to paint the tow hooks red yesterday on the Sequoia.

I need to find something to do to the grille letters. Thought about a retro color scheme. Not sure though. Open to ideas

I think retro would make for a nice splash of color.

Now, does the red go on the left or the yellow?

I ran to auto store and got a gray high heat primer (meant for engine bays) as well as caliper paint in red. I roughed em up a lil bit with some 320 sandpaper I had. I'll see how it all holds up. I like it as of now

Trailing the pieces of @RainMan_PNW's build that fit my use of the Pro. Most notably/recently the addition of the TruckCoversUSA American Roll Cover. This thing is clearly very well made, and my installer said he normally doesn't carry them, but a far superior product to most the others out there he sells on the floor (retrax, others). Super happy with it, despite it being a tad pricey. I ended up getting it off AutoAnything along with the side rails.

Anyway, next up is the same Rhino Rack setup as seen here. Thanks Casey!

    Looking good.
I need to get a second set of snowboard racks on mine. Season is coming...though slow this year so far.

Nice, I did that one for my last couple trucks. Moved to Diamondback this time.

Skis, Thule and Bikes is my plan. We have an Atlas we also use for trips so that will get used through this winter here in the NorthEast but by camping season I plan to have the rack setup complete.

I also considered the Diamondback but A. Even pricier and B. wanted full bed access. The DB seems like the choice for heavy on cover loads and easy tie down for sure! Can’t go wrong!

How much space up front does that cover take up? I'd like to switch a retractable one down the road.

The suspension and IPT valve body are on, one surprising effect was the truck is now much quieter with the new shocks, tire noise seem to be much lower, and it rides like a dream on dirt roads.

I had front raised by 1/2 to 0.75" to level with the rear, the rear got raised by 1" with RAS.

IPT valve body is a peach.

The Truck Covers USA canister is 9”x9” if I remember correctly. It’s the smallest of any retractable, and the front of it is partly angled at a 45*

This sounds about right. You do lose a little bed space in what is already a small bed so, is what it is. Again, has to fit your use of the truck. I wanted easy on/off and everything dry as a bone. I also wanted an easy rack system to be integrated. Plus it looks damn good and is super low profile!

Yep. Those are all the reasons I got one for my 08. 300k miles without issues is why I got another one for my 21.

“Dry as a bone” isn’t entirely accurate in my climate, but it does well enough.

I assume that's 9"x9" for the little rectangle storage part right? how wide is the cover itself? and how is it mounted? just not sure if it'll clear my trail boxes.

I just saw a truck recently in person with the trail boxes. For sure the canister on any of the retractable covers will interfere with the front of the trail boxes. The TCUSA cover attaches by claiming to the bed rails (not the accessory rails). You either have to remove the accessory rails or they make a lowering kit that relocates then lower (but not as much load capacity). I rarely use my rails anyway, but am considering installing some low profile L-Track instead.

Picked up the Westcott front kit earlier for Black Friday. Trying to decide what to do in the rear - CB +2 or +3. Those of you that went this route, any advice? +2 is level and +3 has a little rake?

I’ve got the +2 and it results in dead level. I’d like to go with a +3 but am also eyeballing the RAS that would then require me to possibly return to stock shackles so I’m just starting with the +2 for now. I’ve got lots of other stuff to spend my money on right now (Christmas, snowboard season, etc), so truck mods have taken back seat for a while.

I’ve got +3 with the Westcott front. I’m glad a went higher I think it looks better and doesn’t sag as much when loaded

Thanks! That looks badass. There isn't a wrong choice here. I was leaning +2, but those pics have me thinking otherwise...

I should've measured my fender to wheel center gap before, but I think I'm near +2 at the moment, the rear seems tad higher? I can't be sure, I also had to install 1.25" spacers today to make sure front tires don't touch the reservoirs at lock.

I was suppose to give up my model S but I just can't bring myself to do it. Wife will get rid of her model 3 instead and will drive the S.. this gives me the option of still driving the S once in a while :)

Anyone having issues logging in to Toyota app to remote start? also the Toyota Alexa app is garbage, it rarely works, won't search via voice command....
