I just thought I would put up some videos that I have captured on my dash camera in which there was almost a collision. All of these were recorded on different occurrences. The video quality is not an accurate representation of the actual video quality, I just used a POS video editor. Anyway... Any thoughts? Criticisms? Advice? Admiration?

Damn. The second video you even got a red light runner.

Looks like the people in Colorado Springs.

See Mahoney, you could be a cop and clean that city up. I could just see the smirks on people's faces that are over 35 years old "I'm Officer Mahoney and I could you being an idiotic retard."

Nice driving and glad none of those idiots actually made contact with you!

Those of us in Silver Tundras must deal with this everyday as others normally seem mesmorized by our presence. :p

I wonder how many of those people were on their phones. This kind of driving happens to me all the time in Atlanta. Then you pull up next to them and they are on their cellphone. Then they get this stupid look when you show them the #1 Dale Earnhardt finger. Anyone who seen my injuries in the worst injury thread knows it is painful when this happens to you on a motorcycle.

I used to have an invisible truck. I kid you not. People would just move over on me constantly as though I wasn't even there.

I am using a Mini 0807, it is decent but it has some quirks. The GPS takes forever to connect and get an accurate reading. The date and time are always off, no matter if I set them correctly. However the video quality is really good, despite what you see on the videos above (the video editor made everything hazy). However it is very reliable and has not missed any videos. If you get a ash camera, I recommend a High quality, High endurance, High capacity SD card.

The Tahoe and Nissan drivers were both on their phones. I am not sure about the Inifiniti, I did not have time to look! People talking/texting on their cell phones is a major problem. All too often I have some A**h*** in front of me at a light texting and not seeing the light is green.

That is a very good point! People never do this to me when I am in my 4runner or G6. They both have auto-headlights. I think I am going to start leaving my lights on all the time. The only issue I have with doing that is how dim it makes the information panel on the dash (clock, MPG).

    I am going to start!

The Tahoe and Nissan were on the same day. The Infiniti was a different day.
I use to think about Law enforcement as a career and still do, though I am leaning towards Special investigator. I just am not sure if that type of position typically requires you to be a "street cop" fir a number of years. Though I may be able to pursue a degree in Criminology and see if I can get in with a Governmental agency without having to be a "street cop". What is the term that law enforcement refers to this as? I am sure someone here knows, as there seems to be quite a few law enforcement people here.
A Game warden would not be bad either.
IT jobs such as mine wear you down...believe it or not.

I drive with my foglights on all the time. Obviously the front marker lights are always on my Tundra.
