Okay so I am trying to install a running board right turn single feature on my current running board lights it's wired to do so. I am having trouble finding a wire to use in the cabin. I found one that goes off but with the lights off it also receives 12volts when I hit the blinked it singles. I am wonder what other wire I can use if any or if I have to run it to the front signal?Help is greatly appreciated

Exactly what I was thinking so is there a wire coming from inside the cab to the headlight for the signal light that I can tap into? Or do I need run it outside and under the truck to the headlight to get to the turn signal wire? I’m not going to run the drl, just the courtesy and turn. Literally the exact same lights though.

I may go this route, I have a tailgate bar run off a 4 pin adapter that I wonder if I could tap for turn signal

Yes i did i ended up running the light to a wire going to the mirror. I don't have a picture right now just seen this. But it was the highest wiring box inside that kick panal.not the bottom one.
