Softopper modification to fit trail edition

I really like the tan softopper but I don't think I can fit it on my 21 trail edition without removing the tool boxes. Anyone has any ideas of what to modify to make it fit?

 

Post pictures of what your talking about. Do you have the rails or no?

 

Try checking out the Trail edition thread in the 2.5 gen section of the forum. They had a list of toppers that fit, I think.

 

I don’t think it would be a problem. Your rails don’t move. It’s 2 clamps that attach to the rails. I’ll take pics of mine later but I think you should clear. Mines a 2017

 

Here’s the clamp in the rail. If your bed clears for this shouldn’t be a problem.

 

I did check the other threads. Thank you for the pictures and time I will give it a try.

 

Where are you located? I’m in SoCal if you wanna check it out before you buy one.

Lol I live in Wyoming. Bummer I wonder if I can cut the tubbing where it meets. I'm just buying one and try it. Thanks
