When I was a service plumber I was once lowered into the grease trap of a well known pancake restaurant to fix a drain pipe. The "harness" was a pair of ratchet straps tied to the back bumper of my work van which my buddy backed up to lower me in. He went forward to get me out, all at 2am.

The only thing stopping me is the Beetle is in the way. If that gets working before the roof is painted, we may expect some laughter.

Hell, I didn't even know the Buick had it until shifty posted that list. I looked it up and even found a few for sale. I even stayed up late doing some research on them.

The aurora got the Northstar since its a k-body along with a few caddys. The Buick lacrosse is a w-body along with the grand prix and others, hence the wrong-way LS.

I had a 2010 SHO when we first met in 16. I got the 91 I'm driving now in 3/17. She enjoyed both enough that while we were in Dallas at my sister's wedding in 8/17, we traded in her cr-v for that car. I passed 50k miles on it while I was in Dallas last month.

October 26th, I placed an order with VLEDS for crackie and the silver truck. Order was fulfilled, and sent out via FedEx with two day shipping since it was over $100.

My package has been sitting in Memphis Tennessee since October 27th.

    Screenshot_20211110-171451_Chrome.jpg

So what can I do about this? Do I file a complaint? Is thr FedEx hub shut down for the rona? Edit: Do I contact VLEDS and let them handle it?

I ordered these because I thought both headlights were out on the silver truck. Luckily one side was just unplugged, and the other side needed some fiddling.

Good thing I was able to fix them.

Contact the vendor. Ask them to cancel the order, you couldn't wait any longer and had to find a local solution.

They can work with FedEx to kill the package delivery.

Mom just sent me this pic of their new(to them) Highlander. A huge rock hit them and even dented the roof. So glad they were not hurt.

Gotta watch out following those tractor trailers too closely since they're infamous for kicking up rocks (guessing here). That happened to my sister but it was a cinder block that fell off the construction truck and hit them.

Anything with dual rear wheels can pick up and hurl rocks with aplomb.

Ive painted over the damage, but i caught a fist sized rock to the helmet in north carolina. Sent me into autopilot for 5 seconds or so. Didnt have a visor and was close to 60. Would have folded my face in if it were 2-3 inches lower.

gave that helmet a 2 inch crack.

you know when you lock onto a big bug before it hits the windshield. I locked onto that rock like that.

True, but with more weight over those tires, its going to shoot out with more force.

@Sirfive that 4Runner/taco retrofit hardware kit seems to be the ticket :monocle:

I stumbled across several Tacoma’s and 4Runners of various generations running the swap with good success.

I’d call icon before I pulled the trigger. I’m gonna be setting on this for awhile before I’m ready for replacement options

@Sirfive pretty much, the delta joints are basically a sealed a uniball. They seem to fair better in the elements than the exposed uniball. Plus they’ll be quieter

@Casper421 awesome, I think the sealed setup they offer would be a better fit for the majority of us with aftermarket arms lol
