Getting a good deal on a truck but it is far from me and I can’t figure out if it has too much rust to make the trip. Let me know what you all think.

In Tundra speak, the level of rust in those pics is non existent. You must be living on the west coast. Sometimes a 20 year drought is a good thing.

It's in really bad shape, bro. You need to sell it to me for $2k, I'll take care of repairing everything and get it back in business again.

Rear diff has some Crustiness that’s concerning. The spare tire is pretty rough too. The rest looks pretty good. Prior frame swap? Run the vin and see what’s been done previously.

I'm not sure what I'm looking at from the leaf spring on back. Bumper reinforcement?? The area where the leaf springs attach in back looks suspect. Nothing that can't be remedied with a power wirebrush/grinder.

Yes that's true I'm from up North, and I wish I had moved to Texas like my brother years ago.

Not trying to bag on Jersey too much y'all. Let's just say my experiences in the state and with people from there are less than stellar and may as well be Jersey Shore.

That said, my favorite aunt is from Jersey, from just across the border from Bucks County PA, she's something special. It's not all bad!

So im a Jersey dude that doesn't like going to shore and belong in a state that I can go hunting, shooting, quading and racing and don't have to worry about bull shit laws. Somewhere in Texas I could fit right in.

Better go now, before they secede and won't let anyone in. :D

I've got a gaggle of family in south TX. No shortage of mesquite to throw in the smoker.

That is practically rust free compared to stuff here in the Northwest part of the country in the snowbelt. I would love to have mine with that little rust underneath it. Currently spraying fluid film onto the undercarriage to help fight the rust.

Yep it's had for me to move with family and work, but I wish I had the balls to just say screw everything and go.

Also wouldn't have to worry about so much rust
