So I have decided to keep my 04 Tundra and make some upgrades. I am looking at a few different sites that have wheels and tires that you can order at once and have mounted and balanced prior to shipping so all you have to do is install onto the vehicle. Anyone have any suggestions to which sites they have had the best service with and fastest shipping? I have looked at Carid.com, Customwheeloffset, 4wheelonline and so forth. And did you do your lift kit or leveling kit prior to this purchase or after? There are so many choices. Truck is stock height right now.

I lifted the front and put the wheels and tires after. They would probably fit but might not without the lift.

Getting the tires mounted and balanced from the same outfit may or may not save you money. And - it may have some limits to choices.

Do you have TPMS? I would want a local shop doing that.

My truck does not have the Tpms sensors so I don't need to worry about that. Looking at some different wheel dimensions and what may work on the truck with a lift. Based on the info I have found what I am looking at should work ok without giving me issues with rub. Checking a tire and wheel estimator that compares sizes side by side. Looking at a high offset so they poke out some.

I've used Tire Rack a couple of times with great success. Although they don't actually ship mounted/balanced wheels, they do ship them separately to a local garage (your pick) who does the work, and you can either pick them up, or put on your truck as you wish.

Have you thought about buying a set off take-offs? I got a set on '20 4runner rims and tires for $600 on CL - already mounted and balanced too. Apparently, they wanted the TRD rims and winter tires instead.

I haven't looked into that really. I guess it doesn't hurt to check it out and see what I can find.
    Thanks.

You do need to worry about that, because your sensors come off your old wheels and go on the new ones. Or, it's time to replace them. And they need to be programmed on the truck. I'm 1st gen, look at mine if you want to see 17X8.5 at 0mm offset.

I always search for the best price online for tires and then my local guy always beats it. Now wheels may be different. With Black Friday coming up you should be able to find a deal. Do you research on size and backspace and be ready to lock in a deal.
