ive got several to choose from, a Miller 211 MIG with gas, a Miller Maxstar 140 arc welder or a Miller Trailblazer gas generator welder. oh, also have a little HF 80amp arc welder, that one is probably the best.

Only problem with the 211 is that it requires 240v. My shop only has 0 volts so I have to use the gas generator welder. :)

Well it's time for a big update ... 8 weeks ago i started this little project..

Some know, some dont... i decided it was time for a big change

The Icons and BDS kit was and is awesome, but based on the wheeling ive been doing and the guys i hang with i realized that it was limiting me and holding me back. And the long troublesome issues with the BDS kit and steering rack problems i came to the conclusion its time for an upgrade.. so out with the old and in with the new...

    whats the new...

Total Chaos Long Travel kit with heim uppers
King 2.5 remote resi spec LT coil overs
    Total Chaos Bypass hoops
    King 2.5 Triple bypass
    Total Chaos Cam Tab Gussets
    Total Chaos Spindle Gussets
    McNeil Racing fiberglass fenders
    @Coachbuilder LT tie rods
Custom Built Tube Bumpers front and rear
Customer rear cross member to replace the one cut out from the BDS install
    Wheeler Offroad Super Bumps
AIP relocation (custom kit i put together)
    Rigid Light Bars
    Ditch Lights
replacing winch cable with winch rope
    New on Board Viair system
    Dual/Triple Battery System

Now for the biggest thing Im doing/did the whole install myself.. and documented ... enjoy...

    start with the tear down..

    rear bds crossmember is out

    ok on to the build.....

first I had to get factory spindles from my brother from anther mother @dragos28 since the BDS ones dont work, and while i was at it obviously upgrade them and the cam tabs with TC gusset kits

Definitely know what you mean; its the same as trying to pre run a truck on bilstein 4600's and level kit. You gotta walk along with the talk! Your doing a overland/ expo build right? All around rig?

Nice, you're doing it right man and the best thing to me about it is the personal time you have into the build which translates to you knowing the performance and limitations of the truck personally. Keep it up man!

WOW Bruce, that's some build you did there ! Love to see that kind of work especially out of a driveway build. Great job. Looks like Blossom Valley area where you live. Is that a close guess ? Post the other compressor mods etc once you get those under way.

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
This is easily the best build thread I have seen on here! Very impressive work, it looks like it was all well thought out.

I need you to take a big hit and fully stuff those 37s so I can see how bad it fcks up your inner fender. I'm very close to just installing them and self-clearancing my fenders. It's only an inch...
