What’s the best phone apps to use? Entune sucks. I feel like their should be a better way to connect my phone.

I'm surprised the app is still in use, whenever I open up my app it tells me it is no longer supported and to use the connected services app.

Are you using Android or iPhone? What are you trying to listen from - music download to the phone or a streaming app? Since you're in a 2019 (according to your info under your avatar) you have the older Entune, not 3.0 that the 2020+ guys have. But I thought they were moving all of the functionality over to the Toyota app that you can get from either platforms' app stores. Entune the software sucks, and Entune the hardware sucks even more. But getting you to a usable state depends on what your specific needs are.

Then you'll need to look into an aftermarket head unit. There's no fixing the built in nav and no 3rd party apps work with Entune that way.

99% sure you are stuck unless you get a different head unit. 2020 was the first MY to get android auto/crapple carplay. I'm not the most techie person, but I think those are the only options aside from a new HU, and the 2019 trucks don't have it.

This. It's the 2nd best addition to my vehicle. Having wireless Android Auto and actual Google Maps in my dash was worth every penny.

You’ve got Android Auto/CarPlay in yours. OP the would need to spend a few hundred bucks if the built in nav doesn’t meet his needs. Most OEMs are going to AA/CarPlay now since they realize they suck at infotainment systems.

If you plan on switching vehicles solely because onboard GPS doesn't work, I'm thinking you'll have a nasty surprise waiting in the future. Lots more things than GPS don't work or work well in other vehicles.

My 2019 didn't even come with Navigation.

Somehow I still manage to find where I'm going.

Yup. Depending on electronics is becoming more and more the norm.

Oh I know. I was agreeing with you.

Not buying a well made truck because you don't like the navigations is like not buying the perfect house because of paint color in the basement bathroom.

Right - and I knew you were agreeing w/me. Sorry, am shoulders deep into a new job and have about 5 (literally) monitors full with imaging and other troubleshooting software, so I'm sort of blasting out post updates. Wasn't meaning to sound argumentative. :)
