Kinda strange you lose almost an inch of ground clearance with the hybrid, they must have something that hangs down on that powertrain

Gotcha, so you would probably be better off with a SR5 TRD OR package than the Pro for an off roader. Add the factory lift and you would probably have a decent contender (as much as a full size truck can be). Save a bit of money as well.

Looks like the 3.31 axle ratio, is the TRD pro going to be different?

That build is actually not bad, price wise for what you get. That may win the capability for the money build!!

I've read that is due to the transmission, not sure how accurate that is. Probably the same for the Pro

With a kid on the way, I would give the crewmax a serious look. That backseat will be tight with a car seat back there.

Thanks. Interesting the "de-rated" SR TTV6 has 248hp at 2400rpm.
I don't know what is going on with the derated TTV6. If you get 248hp at 2400rpm when you rev it up the HP increases. HP = Torque x RPM / 5200. So the derated engine is a basic work truck, but rev it up to 5200rpm it makes more HP.

another thought too, they reduced the head room big time in the rear of the 2022 tundra, I would take a seat to the dealer and try to fit it in there as Im not sure how tight that will be using a car seat and/or booster.

the way car seats install in teh current crewmax is a pain in the dick regarding the top anchor, you have to go up through the loop over the other side loop to connect, its not easy. maybe they put an actual anchor down behind the seat this time since it folds down, that would be WAY easier

That was originally the plan, but there aren’t any available crew max allocations at our dealer and a waitlist out thru next summer. I’d go to another dealer, but this one has been family to us since I was a baby. With that in mind I am also getting it at F&F pricing so it’s hard to say no to that. So we’re getting packaged for a 3 year lease and probably at that point (where baby number 2 will likely be a thing) we’ll roll the equity into a crew max. Seeing that Toyota will also have 3 years to dial everything in, it’s likely that at that point it’ll be our forever truck!

Good to know, thanks. Turns out it's all for not anyway.... You can't get the factory air suspension on a TRD equipped truck.

So dealers already know their allocations? Are they officially taking orders already?

but the 1794 gets you 20" rims, right? Doesn't make sense for off-road package to me.

It's not much different than first gear. Aren't they usually pretty close to each other?

The pricing of the TRD offroad package (option code OF) is different for SR5 and Limited. $2090 on the SR5 CM 4wd and $3085 on the Limited CM 4wd. I am trying to figure out why. They look the same. Wheel size is different, but all Limiteds already come with 20's. Am I missing something?

I would for sure go for a truck like this. All I need. Only a little of what I don't.

It's probably legit but where are you guys finding that PDF price sheet? It was last edited by Jeff. That is just extremely sloppy review to leave that on there.

When will the configurator come online?

Because I'm 6'4" and apparently every service tech is 4'9 so I'd like to have my exact seating position again.
