Who’s got them? Lol. Why are we always so far behind. In an instant, hundreds of VIN sheets with prices sprout up and the word from my Canadian dealer: “…Toyota Canada took the order guide offline so we don’t know what is going on.”

Based on the spec sheets released, with conversion and a 13% tax, we are looking at 94k for an optioned platinum. I hope that’s not the case but just looking for any shred of info here.

Saw a Canadian dealer post on Reddit that they might have pricing at the end of the month. I might be looking at 3/4 ton Sierras based on the US Tundra prices we’re seeing. I’m not paying $60k for a SR5 crewmax trd off road.

I hear around 80 for the pro before taxes, suddenly the mods don't seem so expensive anymore.

But yea I doubt there will be any trim that sub 50 before taxes, which is kinda inline with everyone now, I mean a f150 xlt with basic option is already 66k before taxes.

I remember when for that price you could buy a brand new BMW m5 in 2003

I’m worried my Limited OR will be close to $78k all in. That’s more than a 21 TRD Pro. Just outrageously expensive…that’s $16k more than I paid for my 21 Sport Premium.

it’s easy to get 10 - 15k off a Ford in a regular market though. A couple grand off a Toyota is a good win.

Ah good old days of 20% off msrp, at 80k for a pro, cheapest raptor is only 7k more.

You could get a Toyota dealer to come down from MSRP ? I couldn't get them to budge from the 80,000 CAD in 2019 for a TRD PRO . They had 2 of them there for the same price .

I mean, MSRP on my truck was $53k. I just happened to get $8k off. From looking at the American prices, the base truck price is still pretty similar, there are just a lot of expensive packages you can load them up with.

Why not spend $2k more and get a 3500?

Couls do that too. I really have no need for a 3/4 or 1 ton but if the pricing isnt much more than a Tundra...

I'm on the fence with needing a bigger truck; it all depends on how small of a travel trailer I can talk my wife into and how much I'm comfortable going over my GVWR when I'm loaded up for camping. Plus another 13-16" of bed length wouldn't hurt.

The only thing a HD truck would do for me would allow me to get a slide-in camper. Other than that, I don't need anything more than a 1/2 ton. I prefer short beds too. I've had 5.5ft, 6.5ft and now a 6ft bed. 5.5ft made the most sense for me.

I could honestly see myself buying a 4 runner or something if I didn't want to regularly tow a 18ft boat.

The ones I'm looking at are 3000 - 4000lbs trailering weight. Add in fuel, gear and supplies for a multi-day trip plus driving through the mountains and a 4Runner would be working pretty hard.

Egad! I guess I did look at an 18 ft Glastron that was about 3000 lbs, now that I think about it.

Very happy with my dad's 1986 16 footer. Maybe 1500 lbs on the trailer, fully loaded with gear.

20% is pointed at domestic, I paid 52 otd for my Rebel with MSRP of 72, I don't think that'll ever happen again, for the pro I got 3500 off so I was happy.

I never understood how Toyota Canada did some trims, you couldn't choose anything for base models, and they throw packages together for things you don't really want and say "take it or leave it", Sport/Off roads were awesome trims, but then suddenly you gotta take leather and bunch other stuff that adds another 3-4k to the price, I doubt they'll even have SR trims here, we'll probably end up with basic trim being just SR5, then offroad/sport, then premium options, those plus 5.99% rate, phew.....

I'm looking at 16 - 18 foot river boats, usually with a 240 Mercury SportJet or Ecoboost. Something like an Explorer 166 or Outlaw Lynx Tuchodi. This one weighs 2500lbs dry. Add in trailer, gear, fuel etc. and it adds up quick. The older boats that are in my price range are a bit heavier.

In the states a 2021 Tundra TRD trail edition was $46,000 usd, in Canada the same truck was $51,800 all before freight and taxes. I think saw the 22 SR5 TRD off-road come in at $47,900 usd so if they use the same percentage increase that makes it $54,000 in Canada. A base limited would be $58,500 CAD. I'm guessing a limited with pano roof will be $59,900. Seems optimistic but if an SR5 off-road all of a sudden is $58,000 in Canada they are going to have problems moving them.

Ain't that the truth. I only have a 16' mod-V and we most do lake fishing or hunting, but nothing beats being out on the water or lake island hopping.

Optimistic for sure, but I hope youre right. Im preparing myself for the Limited to be around 65K with the top line models well over 70K.

The US pricing seems to be around 5-8k increase for mid to top line models.

    $49,245 2021 Platinum US MSRP
    $64,250 2021 Platinum Canadian MSRP

Thats a 30% increase from US to Canadian MSRP

    $39,265 2021 Crewmax SR5 US MSRP
    $48,080 2021 Crewmax SR5 Canadian MSRP

That's a 23% increase from US to Canadian MSRP

Using these percentages as a range:
If we have the 2022 US pricing of $45,805 for a base model SR5 Crewmax, then the Canadian MSRP would be expected around 56K-58K. Base model 4x4 Crewmax SR5.

Base model Limited Crewmax is US MSRP $51,900, so I would expect 66K-70K for the Canadian base model Limited Crewmax MSRP.

TRD Jon released a video showing a 22 SR5 off-road is only $2000 us more than the 21. I’d take a plain off-road with the 8 inch screen at $54,000 or less. Anything more and it’s a little too much IMO.

I don’t think these packages are apples to apples between Canada and US. They have more basic models and we get optioned out packages. I don’t think we will see a base SR5 off-road without a tech pack added standard here.

TRD offroad is a 3-4k option on the US vehicles, for reference in my post above.
