Have you considered tacking some screen-like or mesh-like material over the slots rather than sealing them completely since they do serve a purpose? My concern would be the trapping of the heat generated and leaving it with fewer places to cool and dissipate, especially out here in the desert. If you choose to seal it I would be inclined to believe the excess is going to transferred most to the floorboard. Just a thought.

Yeah, good catch. When I went to bed last night all that played back in my head before I fell asleep. I think expanded metal should do the trick. Since I've had the Torque app display trans pan temps for the past few months I should be able to notice if temps suddenly rise due to lack of airflow. I should probably put a radiator replacement in my list of things to do this winter since I think it's the original.

X2 on the radiator if it is. You'll definitely see an improvement in heating and cooling capabilities.

Yeah, that sucks, but I feel like pops might've overcalculated on that a bit.

We wouldn't do less than 18% at the tint & audio shop I worked at. And this was in the sunny, flaccid dick-shaped state. IMO opinion, it's not worth it, there's no real gain, and having tint so dark it looks like you spraypainted the windows from the inside looks like some tacky bro shit. No offense to any other member that's done it, everyone has their thing, I respect that.

What about the windshield? Like a 50%? My buddy in OK did his and you could barely tell from inside. Looked great from the outside.

Top strip only? Go as dark as you want.
Full windshield? Ed wouldn't do it.

Ceramic tint, like 80+%. Think Benz style.

    50% fronts and 35 or 20% rears.

So many smaller projects I need to do as well: horn relay & remount, wire extra a/c condenser fan , oil t-stat for trans cooler, 12-hole injectors and swap 3rd member with powertrax grip pro to see if I like it.

Yeah I got the 20%, don’t wanna have to roll the windows down to use my rear view mirrors. Have not installed it yet
Any tint on an entire windshield, beyond factory, is illegal in Cali. Top strip as @shifty` said is free reign. I definitely see cars here that have done it, and it seems to be one of those things, like a burnt out license plate light. Not a good reason for a cop to stop you, but it can be a reason for a cop to stop you, if you know what I’ mean

Yes, got 238 WHP and 266 WTQ on a Chassis dyno which I think is low, but seems normal for these engines by what I've seen in other's dyno charts. that run was before my headers, DD full race exhaust and DD 12 hole injectors were installed.

Just called the dealer to check pricing on new seatbelts (both front buckets) since mine are frayed and pretty badly worn from the PO. $416 a piece!!!!! NOPE. Just found a place called safety restore that will rebuild them for $75/each. Not terrible. Wondering if I should try and match the OEM tan color or go with like red or something? But is red too rice rocket-y? Or does it say TRD lol? Would match my brake calipers I suppose haha

Red would look Pep Boys in my opinion. Match or black, or darker than original

Yeah, looks like their red is ‘Ferrari red’ which may stand out a bit too much. Found they do OEM color match so hopefully they can’t get it close but really as long as they stop tearing up my shirts then I’ll be happy.

I think I am still getting some rubbing on my fenders post lift with the SPC UCAs. I'm running only 265/70R17s with 4Runner Traill edition wheels and 1.25" spidertrax spacers. I'm surprised it is rubbing.

Ordered a couple of additional options to try for the HVAC LEDs. Not sure if I will like the green or white better, so will try both. I was trying to find those that have lower overall lumens to not look so off compared to the instrument cluster.

Great Idea. I beat mine into some shape, but I'll be looking for similar in the scrap at the metal supply.

I already paid for the service. Just gotta pull mine out tomorrow and then send em in. They don’t customize but would maybe piece together a kit if you sent them the gray buckles along with your belts. Not sure.
Thanks but I ended up $142 out the door for new webbing so they should be better than any used set.

I’d supply buckles and stuff. The plan is going moon mist or charcoal. (I just can’t stand tan) with a mix of black. I’m just curious how well the new webbing and all that works.
