Lol...its a heritage 22lr with 16 in barrel. I saw it and had to buy it just for shits and giggles. Very accurate tho and fun to shoot.

 

I always wanted that in semi auto; the perfect (back of jacket / vest carry ) weapon.

Yes, it is. Purchased the Shockwave when they first came out. I've practiced quite a bit with it. I recently found a scabbard that I think is
the right design and length. Other than the worthless sling I like it. DeSantis Kurz.




Much of the competition are designed like this which I think is poorly designed.

 

I just picked up a Sig Sauer P365XL the other day after an incident @ a local restaurant made me completely rethink how/what I carry...but I have to admit that I thought *hard* about Canik. I shot a few firearms last year while searching for more of a full size firearm; shot the Glock 19X, P320 (I think), Canik TP9, etc. At the time I ended up with the Glock 19x for two reasons - it felt fantastic, and I got a huge deal on it (I think I paid like $420 for it - and that was last year when finding *anything* sucked).

My EDC and CCW are Glock 19X and the P365XL, in that order, but my next 'funtime' handgun will very likely be a Canik.

 

Thats badass! wish these were legal in Ca. I got the raptor shockwave kit for my Mossberg 590 but i have yet to put it on.

 

Curious what the incident was and how it changed your view of what to carry, if you don't mind sharing? I use a 365 for CCW and have a 19X (and now the Canik). I would be all for carrying a larger gun, but the 12rds of the 365 and the small foot print seem like a good middle ground. Stuffing the 19X or Canik in my pants when I already feel like I print enough with the 365 in appendix seems like a poor idea, though I don't have much body mass to hide anything under in the first place either haha

 

Living in CA. is a major "hemorrhoid" if you know what I mean.
Lots of nice firearms are just not available to us West coasters.
I've been wanting a Keltec RFB for sometime now but, no cigar...

 

I don't think I could live there. The weather is great, but everything else... I hope those of you sticking it out can get things to change for the better out there.

 

Children and grand children live here. 2 miles away, We stay until they don't want us around LOL.

Going to pick up an upper/lower Wilson Combat receiver set in the next day or two to do a full WC 5.56 build. Forged or Billet? They have both. For the $200 savings in forged vs billet I could go from a WC M-LOK handguard to a DD rail system. TIA.

Just picked this up yesterday, I wasn’t planning on buying a gun walking into the LGS but i always ending up walking with something. I got the Canik METE SFT.

 

Those Caniks are pretty sweet. That'll likely be my next handgun.

No, it’s a tool , the handle bottom plate slides and that’s were screw are held. Pretty cool, though

 

This is my Sig 522 (.22LR) SWAT which came as a packaged pair with the Sig 5.56. Outstanding plinker. It was a bit pricey and never became as popular as it could have compared to the myriad of Walther/Umarex black rifle rimfire offerings.

 

Walther PDP Compact, sold my CZ P10F for it.
