I got the whole set for $350. I almost gave him an extra 50 just because I was so excited to have em! Plan is to wraps them in some 37s. Anyone run RW w 37s without wheel spacers or will they rub the uca?

I've been looking for over 2 years for some that aren't way overpriced but every time I see a set it's always some one who wants way too much for them.

1 guy wanted someone to buy a new set of Methods then trade for his used RW wheels.....

 

Hahaha... the "method man" sounds like a wheeler and dealer! I like him. I saw a brand new-looking set of 5 up in Michigan or Chicago area off a LandCruiser w new 33 BFG tires for $3,500... It was tempting, but I didn't want the 33's..

I'll keep my eye out for RW wheels and post here if I find them.. facebook marketplace never lets me down.. and i won't let you down. I know there's a totaled rock warrior in ohio with a set of 3, but the dude wouldn't give me a price.. just kept shooting down my (low ball) offers... I refuse to counter myself... thats his job. I'll try to find it and share the link... maybve someone else here will have better luck. (am i allowed to share a link to a marketplase listing or is that a "no no" here?

I've cleaned em up and they look soo much better... now just trying to find cheap options for the center caps. maybe stickers.?

Yes. I bought the vinyl stickers for the center caps there. Not cheap but perfect fit.

2015 TSS Bilstein 6100 @1.9” RW wheels 305/70/17, thinking of going down to 285/70/17 for a much lighter tire and better ride. Change my mind?

 

Just picked this bad boy up last week. Added a tonneau cover for the bed. Thinking of adding a set of spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers. Would the stock 285/70r17 tires rub? Also thinking about going with 285/75r17 in the future. Can I fit this tire set up on stock suspension?

My guess is that you could go up to 285/75/17 on the stock suspension with just removing the front mudflaps and possibly a little trimming of the skid plate although its the same width as stock so you might be fine. Would certainly look very good and there are a few options in C and D load if you don't want to add too much tire weight.

 

The tire that the previous owner has on are 285/70r17 cooper discovery at3 in C load. Looking to upgrade to some E load Mud Terrain tires once these wear out. Does anyone have any link or info on adding a back up camera using the existing oem pre-wired. only ones i've found are the after market ones on Amazon.

 

Personally I hate my E load 305/70/17's but they are 64lbs each and stiff and loud. I know everyone is different but I am going down to a 46lb 285/70/17 and see if things improve

 

That's heavy but they sure look nice on your truck.

 

Took the Tundra out to a nice easy mellow local creek trail, was a good time.

 

Still a work in progress. So far so good.

 

@LATERAL G I found a set of RW wheels on Facebook during a trip to Wisconsin (i think near Wausau) for $600 if you're interested. He didn't seem like he had any bites yet, so you might be able to talk him down.

Also for anyone else who is looking for a spare like me, I'm considering getting a group together to split them up. if nobody is interested in the whole set.

Tundra owners are such gentlemen, right on. give @LATERAL G a chance to reply today... if we don't hear from him I say hit up that guy on the facebook. he was willing to ship i think too. Just so you know i have no affilications w that seller, i just asked if he had the whole set and told him i was looking for a spare and would post on tundras.com to see if i could find any buyers. my goal in life is to never let a set of these wheels go to waste.

 

So I messaged the guy just to see if he still has them and he literally just sold them earlier this afternoon. Just my luck. If you happen to find any others, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
