Again, it is your responsibility to check them before operating the vehicle. Yes it would the owner's responsibility, they should KNOW and if they don't they didn't check their vehicle.

We’ll see how people in the legal world evaluate this. I guarantee you I do NOT have any obligations to check and ensure they did the work correctly.

If your electrician screws up and your house burns down, is it your fault or his? When you do stuff as a business, you incur the liability of doing the work right.

Hahahah that's all you have? Because clearly you don't quite understand physics at all. It's okay we know you can't even change the oil on your rig and can't handle the real party being responsible is the vehicle owner.

Shop did their job. It had oil and filter replaced. The owner didn't pay attention to a LEAK and ruined the engine. To counter your question, at what point is the OWNER responsible for checking their vehicle? 150 miles is a long ways, 2-3 hours of driving.
So the owner gets away from being liable because they can't check their own vehicle out?
    No.

If you have been on this forum more than 5 minutes you’d know I do my own work. Swapped my belt tensioner and idler pulley Monday morning. Installed sliders a few weeks back. Let’s see your handy work, Cooter.

Have you seen the TRD skid, or aftermarket skids? You know, the ones will a big ramp up front that will deflect air. It would shield any dripping oil from the wind, and it would run/pool on top of the skid until it fell. It would not be blown back up onto your exhaust, and IF it did, it would be under the cab by that point. Meaning any smell would be blown by the wind behind you and nowhere near where you could smell it.

At this point, if I continue to argue it just guarantees we have two idiots arguing.

The shop didn’t install things correctly after taking them apart. That isn’t the owner’s fault nor is it his obligation to check, regardless of what you think.

Hahahahaha oh god, is that supposed to impress? Literally 5 minutes jobs, congrats on that. And yet you seem to not know how to change your own oil. Bravo

    My handy work?
I have rebuilt 5 cars from the ground up, two of which I now own.
I was able to build my own transmission cooler system, without having to buy a kit.
I am able to change my own oil.
I am able to do anything my tundra requires.
