I've tried this a couple times. Doesn't really work with her. She likes to talk things out. When I tried this, she accused me of just saying it so she would stop talking. She was right, but telling her she was right just made it worse lol. I've learned she's right more than I am, so I just let it go. Sometimes I like to mess with her and tell her "I'm not always right, but I'm never wrong". Confuses and frustrates her, and anyone I say that to. Honestly, I heard it from somewhere and I have zero clue on if it actually means anything

My wife had one for the first. The second one they were prepping her for it but didn’t have time to do it. Three pushes and our daughter was in the midwife’s arms.

With my second son a bunch of arteries tore and within seconds the floor was 1/4” deep in blood. They got IV’s in both her arms and kept her heart beating.
Imagine if that had been a home birth with a midwife.

 

Yeah, ours were both in the hospital. Just had a midwife for the actual delivery, but weren't going to do any of that home-birth stuff. The oldest was turned sideways with the cord around her neck...took about 4 hours for her from the first "push!". But the second kid came out like she was coming down a water slide...

 

Yeah that’s super scary. Haha I almost passed out for both of ours and it was pretty routine! I could only imagine that type of thing happening!!!
My cousin did a at home like tub birth, and it went south really fast. I don’t think she will ever have another one. He’s 9 or like 15 now, so he’s fine haha

Our second was the only one that offered an easy delivery. Our first had my wife in labor for 20 hours before being delivered by emergency c-section after getting stuck in no man’s land. Wife lost so much blood (27 sponge count in the OR) her pulse was elevated for days and they were convinced I was sneaking her in cocaine.

Our third came a month early and spent 8 days in the NICU. That put a dent in her college fund.

Married 27 years. My strategy has always been to be stubborn and hard headed as hell, making every victory she’s had over the years a pyrrhic one. It was tough the first few years, but she finally understood I just wasn’t worth arguing with. The key is to have the argument in your head beforehand, so you’re prepared for every possible response.

 

I’ve learned to just start random arguments about nothing in order to avoid the arguments about something.
