2nd Gen Tundra Grade trim - are they prewired for foglights?

I've seen a thread on adding fog lights to Tundras without them, but that was for a 3rd gen, just not sure if 2nd gen is pre-wired for them.

If they are pre-wired, would the install be pretty much the same as the 3rd gen?

    Thanks!

    Alot of them
On my 2010, when I added them, they (OEM kit) came with a harness and a switch that went into one of the switch blanks on the dash. I don't remember if I had to run the harness all the way down to the bumper or not.

Thanks, do you have a link to the kit you used?

OP - did you end up finding out if you can add fog lights to your 2nd Gen Tundra that didn't come with them from the factory?

yes there are factory plugs tucked away in there. search google a bit more theres a write up of addding a relay in fuse box and it activates the lines. you have to replace the left turn signal stem since it has built in fog light switch or you can run a momentary switch and tap into the lines under dash. I had a car audio shop figure out which lines to tap with a switch that pops into one of the empty slots and used factory wiring in the engine bay

I bought my 2010 SR5 in 2017. My OEM foglight plugs were zip tied to the frame.

I added a relay and found the correct steering wheelswitches. I installed it and everything works fine.

Yes, Yes Yes, my 2010 Grade has relay wire from dash and wires to the lights. It did not come with fog lights but is pre-wired. You need a relay, switch, power, Ground, and lights of your choice.

    Tundra Fog Lights:
    84140-02670 SWITCH $116
    52126-0C020 LEFT BRACK $61
    52125-0C020 RIGHT BRACK $61
81210-AA030 FOG ASSEMBLY $182 < I used Morimoto XB LED's into the OEM housing.
Part numbers are for chrome bumper.

Thread is here. One wire to disconnect. I modified the switch making it short to ground when on to operate the relay.

    Edit:
Post has schematics and steps to wire new fleabay dash switch. My fogs come on with any light setting on and turn off via switch or if lights are turned off.

The active high switch needs modified to be active low. See napkin schematic in link.
