Not bad at all. Get a corner and carefully remove. Getting them on was a little tougher but just needed to work from the outside inward

35x12.50 on a 9in rim, I'll give it shot and see after I get the mount balance and TPMS sensor swap done. Hope you're right, every bit to keep the center of gravity down and not give up bed space is a win.

I am running 37 12.5x20. They will not fit under the rig due to interference with the shackles and springs. I purchased the Hi-Lift L Track on AMZN. I have two more rails I will add this weekend that will also fit on the width of the wheel running down the bed. I didn't have time to install them when I did the one rail and wanted to make sure I was safe before heading out on my trip to Utah. I also purchased the Pro Armor Y ratcheting wheel strap.

Just took my truck to the dealership for some kind of oil leak, leaking onto the passenger side exhaust manifold. Thought I lost my mind seeing smoke come out of the hvac vents on start up.
Any ideas? 2021 and hit 666 miles driving to the dealer

I really hope not at less the 1k miles. I’m actually breaking the motor like the manual says so I have been taking it really easy. Bah!

With a truck that new, i bet it was just spillage or something, can just wipe it and see if it comes back.

I agree! I would double check the oil fill cap and dipstick. Then I would wipe everything clean. After all of that, I would take her for a short run around the block and see if the leak is still there. Take a ton of pics and see if you can find where it is originating from before you take it in. This will help the tech and it will also help to CYA... just in case.

    GOOD LUCK!

Thanks guys. I’ve smelt it for a few days. Had smoke in the cabin the other day and a nice cloud of smoke on the passenger wheel well when I went to lunch today. Just drove it right to the dealer.
ugh I wish I never read about those cam seals….not happy

If it ends up being that be happy its happening now instead of after the warranty period like most other manifestations of it.

It affects all years of the 5.7. Some leak at 500 miles, some leak at 100k miles. Reading through the cam tower thread, there is no consistency when the leak shows up.

True, gravy on French fries only works if you have cheese curds as well. For some reason it is delicious!
