For whatever reason you seem inclined to respond to every comment I make about the commercial. Fixated, maybe? I don't know. Work for Toyota in marketing, maybe? I don't know. Buying the truck? I don't care.

I think they missed the mark with the commercial and I'm going to make fun of it. You don't seem capable of dealing with it for some personal reason. My advice to you is, let it go. I'm going to have my opinion and I'm within the rules of using this forum. Make your posts about how great the commercial was. I DON'T CARE. I'll scroll past. Perhaps you should be doing the same? If you can't, I can do this all day.

Imagine being so triggered over someone's opinion you have to resort to ad hominem attacks.

I'm not. I thought the commercial missed the mark by using a pumpkin so I'm making fun of it. Some others are taking it personal.

So farmer's aren't real men. Gotcha. But I guess a ton of building supplies really does weigh more than a ton of vegetables. :monocle:

I thought it was hilarious as well and all in good fun.

I want to see a Toyota commercial with a fat Santa in the back.

farmers don't use 1/2 ton foreign trucks, we all know that, lol.

but maybe the super giant pumpkin farmers do? TRD Pros too woohoo.

kidding aside, I thought it was a stupid Commercial as well, a huge pumpkin hauled and towed by the off-road model that has the lowest payload and towing which is highlighted by it sagging in the rear, when they have other models that would do it no sweat. The truck is likely fine, but the roll out and marketing is really lacking so far

Didn't say farmers weren't real men. Said no man has ever said their badass truck can haul huge vegetables. I stand by that. Got any proof to rebut me?

Stop. Just stop. For whatever reason you and a couple others are getting bent b/c I'm making fun of a Toyota commercial. I mean, really, is this the maturity level of some people here?

Toyota said that pumpkin was ~1200 lbs.

I have to admit I about died laughing last night. Sent the guy who sold me my current truck a message asking if he knew when pricing would be released, and this was his literal response:

:woot::woot::woot::woot:now after some time to ponder on the commercial, i now get it. The commercial is Brilliantly done!! i support Toyota and their pumpkin fetish and this commercial is over the top good !! Think about what they are saying. This Tundra is a lifestyle truck it does it all ,, not only can you haul tools in the back, or motorcycles, you can drop huge crates weighing thousands of pounds from 50 feet in the air and the bed doesn’t break, you can pull a semi with heavy construction equipment weighing 12,000 pounds and now they show that you can even carry a pumpkin in the back …. !!! brilliant

    ^this.

I think someone mentioned it earlier: Toyota would have been safe with the intro, then switching to a Platinum/1794 with air bags. They could have still zoomed in on the squat, then cut to the airbags, then cut back to the squat being leveled. I might have still laughed about the vegetable though.

Just wait till the simpletons on instagram start posing their vegetable hauling shots in their new TRD Pros....Toyota is gonna create a run on giant vegetables and probably have to add a warning sticker to the truck.....

Warning..This vehicle is only capable of hauling vegetables weighing xyz...Manufacturer assumes no liability if overloading of vegetables cause a mechanical failure.

I thought I read/heard somewhere that Toyota was lowering production of other products and moving chips to Tundra allocations? I could be wrong though. As far as other shortages, yeah, it's a thing.

    What trim is that?
