Received the kit but cannot figure out how to attach the rails to the truck. The instructions are almost useless. The kit came with 10 extra pieces that are not even referenced in the instructions. I have a 2021 limited with the deck rail system.

    Thanks!!!

I will try and get a pic tomorrow. They are what appear to be stamped steel rails of different lengths. I have googled for info on this and can find no mention of these pieces. I was hoping to at least find a photo of a tundra install. Nope. I am a 60 year old mechanical engineer and looked at all these pieces and don’t have a clue. It is advertised to fit a 2021 Tundra.

Not long enough to be cross bars. I am going to call RC tomorrow. I have texted them already.

The pieces actually look like they are parts for a shelf. They don’t even color match the other components. They are bent in such a way where they look like they are to support a shelf and have metal buttons one each end that look like they should attach to legs. Very strange.

Even says on their web site that it installs to the factor bed rail system. I am sure when they tell me how to do it I am going to feel like an idiot but damn their instructions could be more specific to the actual type of truck. A couple of photos would be very helpful if nothing else.

Contacted RoughCountry and they confirmed this kit in fact will not fit my Tundra rail system. They also said they would modify their web site to indicate in will not fit the factory rail system instead of it will fit the factory rail system. Huh, I must be the first Tundra owner to ever buy one these.... That is pretty much it. I am going to return it and hopefully they will return my money.
