These are my spurs, made for me by a blacksmith friend. The large main part is forged from a single piece of steel, hot split and drawn. There’s no welding done on themF0FCD195-C398-4E97-AB1B-1D5EE9982A60.jpg0498BBE8-34DA-474B-81C7-149F307EC004.jpg

I have zero use for spurs but for some reason I now require a set.

    Pretty good.

I may have knowledge of an event…

6 guys, 2 trucks, one night, 2 cases of Natural Light, 1 gallon of Smirnoff and exactly one half pallet of surplus auction toilet paper.

Eight hundred ten rolls distributed in a neighboring town.

    It made the news.

    They never found the culprits.:spy:

I thought this was a southern thing.
Yes, this is still a regular thing around these parts.

Actually I consider it the exact opposite...but then again...Montana is great......
Quite frankly Montana and Texas times 2.5 might fit in Alaska..........the only state left like AK is Wyoming. Just sayin. Wyoming seems more resilient and resistant to change.

My wife dressed as a cowgirl at her school yesterday.
No one complimented her outfit, they just all said, “oooohhhhh guuurrrrlll, yo man gone get some tonight”.

I've been drifting in and out of this thread - been exhausted from trying to get shit done outside and just can't get enough energy to try to catch up with whatever you all are talking about.

My wife's first husband collected swords and knives. I'll take a picture of a few later and post them up for you. Don't know how old they are but they are kind of cool.

Yeah, that was me. It was more that Mrs. Bandito thought I'd like cowboy boots and wanted to transform me into a Texan. I put the "fetish" part in there to spice up the post a bit. ;)

I actually hated the boots. Years later, we were in Wimberley, I cool little town in the Hill Country. There was a used boot store there run by a German lady who was called the "Boot Whisperer." You'd take off your shoes, she'd take a look at your feet and then go pick you out a pair of used boots that would fit perfectly. Those boots were awesome and that's when I understood why cowboy boots are so popular.

If I ever make it to Europe I’m sure I would move pretty slow looking at all the ancient hand forged iron work.

My wife gave me an album for our 20th anniversary.
All professionally done and very tasteful.
Just enough to make me, well… happy.

one of the best gifts a wife could do, imo.

    @gosolo

Here are two of the daggers. There's a lot more tucked away and a really cool short curvy sword with a mother of pearl inlay (I think that's what it is) on the hilt. I'll dig that one up someday.
