Have a 22 Tundra TRD Sport in celestial silver confirmed. Build date 11/29. Not my top choice but I need a truck by the end of the year. The build sheet says 'boulder" for interior color. Anyone have an idea what color that is? Sounds brownish to me

 

I would think grey but I haven't been paying that much attention to all the options.

So the current tundra isn't made to do truck things either? Cause the 3rd gen has better specs across the board. Making the 2nd gen even more useless???

 

Boulder is the light gray interior.

 

Lunar rock isn't available on the limited.

 

Super lame choice, a limited/ platinum/ 1794 lunar rock would have been great

Are you sure? I was told it was only available on limited (not sport) here in Canada. Either way I switched my order to a Limited Off Road Army Green which is the color I always wanted.

 

Oh Canada could be completely different and could be available. In the US it isn't. Which is dumb because I feel like Limited TRD Off Road is the sweet spot. More features than the SR5 but not full blown TRD Pro.

 

I get it for the Platinum trim (since there is no TRD package) and the 1794 (it's a specific color scheme) but it should have been available on the Limited.

 

In Canada, we are short changed by Toyota Canada with less color combinations, for SR and SR5, only black interior is available, for LIMITED, you can black or gray, but gray is only available with black or blueprint exterior, I have seen on videos red LIMITED with light gray interior but it is not available in Canada.

 

In Canada, lunar rock is available on double cab limited, double cab or crewmax SR5, and TRD pro

 

Personally I prefer black over grey interior anyway. Never been a fan of grey, always looks cheap to me. (with certain exceptions of course)

 

If a plastic truck fits your needs go for it.

 

Well mine has held up well so if Toyota was right in saying they wanted to improve on their past trucks then it should be fine.

Drove by a ‘21 Pro in Lunar Rock today and about shit myself it was so purty.

I really like the Gen 3 but damn Gen 2.5s are sexy.

 

Yeah that's why i bought a 2.5 gen. Strictly the LR color.
