I want to get my bed Line-X'ed but I can't decide which dealership to get it done. There are 3 in my area (LINE-X BEDLINERS OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS, LINE-X OF ROSELLE, and GREAT LAKES LINE-X). All the dealers seem to have plug-n-chug websites with the same information so comparing them is difficult. Has anyone in the Chicago area used any of the Line-X dealers mentioned?

What should I look for in a dealer? Who got their bed bolts sprayed? Or should I have them take them off? How long does it take? How much is it for the short-bed?

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

Mine came with toyota liner and the bed bolts were sprayed as well. I personally wouldn't spray the bolts so you can remove them easier and attach D-rings to them as tie downs.

All the Linex dealers pretty much do the same work. They have to get certified by the brand in order to sell it. I called the Toyota dealerships near me and asked if they use them. I went with the Linex franchise that the dealership uses. They did a great job and gave me a discount for mentioning the dealership even though I didn't buy my truck from them. I got the Line-x premium.

They removed all bolts and left them unsprayed.

Call Schaumburg Toyota and see who they used. I believe it is Line-X of Roselle. They did mine and did a great job. I'd call the service dept.

Only if you ever need to remove the bed. Nothing a can of rustoleum liner wouldn't fix upon reinstall. More than likely you could cut the liner around the bolts and peel it off of them if you ever need to.

Quick, please, I'm getting mine sprayed tomorrow morning.

Where did they spray up to on the tailgate. Did they just stop where the cap starts, or did they take the tailgate cap off and spray a bit above the tailgate cap line?

Also, what about the 4 plastic oval caps on the bulkhead? Did they spray over that? I need 2 accessible because that's where the drainlines for my tonneau cover go.

slightly above the line to get a good coverage. They did remove the tailgate off.
all 4 plastic caps are sprayed.
Your Line -x guy should know what to do.

On mine they removed the tailgate trim and all 4 caps before spraying. The caps are still fully functional. The tailgate is sprayed under the tailgate trim, I'm not sure how far though.
