I think we all had the Bulls jacket like this in the 90s.

 

I still have a pair of #7 Olympics Jordans I only wore a couple of times. I really should sell those they are bringing good money.

And a new england patriots starter jacket. Zipper broke, but still fits!

 

I was a big fan of the Bad Boys, Bill Laimbeer being my favorite player.

His father was a member of the country club I bartended at right before I joined the Army. Bill came in once during some golf event - he must have been 7 feet tall. I handed him a beer but didn't get a chance to talk to him because I was so busy. Talked to his dad quite a bit though.

 

Met Jordan once, in his rookie year. My great uncle was best friends (As in at family Christmas parties)with Larry O’brian, former commissioner of the NBA. We used to get tickets to all the hall of fame events, induction ceremonies, etc, they also used to do a preseason game in town around the induction ceremonies, and there would be corporate dinners with the teams that we went to. Also met Magic, Bird, Kareem, and several others from the mid 80s until Larry passed away.

If anyone is bored and wants to see some of the gems that my town has produced, there is a terrible show on Netflix called Slobbys World. It’s hard to stop watching yet the worst, but it’s about his retro toy shop that he runs. But he’s also a sneaker head, and has a shop right next door that has some ridiculous Jordan’s and other shoes that cost wayyy to much!!!

 

I’m setting an alarm for this one!

I got my tires rebalanced today. All that mud threw a weight.

 

Way more exciting news though. Got a new mattress today. MAN!! Can’t believe I waited so long. It was even difficult, just went to a store, said I’ll take this one, and they delivered it. Who knew?

 

I have done this.
And was paid for it.

 

And talked to friend last night that bought a Ram 1500 last month. Two fer.

I do not want to know what’s in that bag.

 

We bought some at Mattress Firm about 6 years ago. We are cheap when we can be so one of the beds we bought was a display XL Twin that was at another store so we didn't get to lay eyes on it. When they brought it, it looked like somebody had died on it. I called it the "Ebola Mattress." My daughter thought it was funny, the sales guy didn't. Anyways, they ended up giving us a brand new mattress to replace it, so that was cool.
