Ordered a bunch of lights from Matt -
GREAT package and service !!

FINALLY got the bed and hood lights installed late last nite- changed a couple wiring process around to suit my liking

Didn’t use any of the stick-on zip-tie blocks -instead tucked the excess wire in between bed strips up under rail and siliconed in place for a “cleaner” look(in my opinion) and up out of the way of bed objects.


Instead of drilling a new hole for bed switch-I used the existing factory hole @ driver side rear -it’s a little big but I use the same style switch in my line of work and stole the “washer/tag” to fill the space - little hairy running the wires up and out of “stake” hole but I made it work.

On to the hood kit - I fished the wiring down to battery in and out of holes in the hood to keep it tucked away then zip tied to hinge and under weather strip as suggested by Matt

Hey Matt! Question- I have the roll n lock sliding cover on my pro, which removes the factory bed rails and replaces them with different ones for the cover. Would I still be able to use your kit? Thanks!

 

Love my Matt Gecko lights, had on for several months already, one of the coolest mods so far.

 

I would need to make the lights special for your setup with longer wires.

 

I dont have time to go through all these posts. I would like a engine kit and also I have a shortbed topper on my truck. Do you have a kit for my topper? I dont want the under bed rail mount.

Just did my under hood lights. It was a quick install with good directions. I did route it a little differently with my switch though. Can we get a bed kit for the first gen?

 

Switch location looks great!

The 2nd gen bed lights will fit the 1st gen but not having the bed rails to mount to the light doesn't spread throughout the bed as nicely.

 

Just put my order in finally. Put some notes on the comments section. Let me know what is doable? Ordered the camper shell lights, thinking to double up with rail lights too? Plus also wondering about footwell lights.

@mattgecko what kit would I need for a short bed tundra to include to interior (both sides of camper top) and a strip on the camper back hatch door? Also including a 3 way switch to turn on inside and hatch separately and the option of all on? Thanks!
