Made it to vegas today, gonna check out the Grand Canyon tomorrow. ..but dang, coming in on freeway there was a solar(heliostat steam, I think) power plant. Anyway, coolest thing I have ever seen. Looked futuristic for sure. It was brighter in the daylight, than any led/hid I have seen at night. Picture does no justice.

Had sushi again tonight. At home, I eat it maybe once a month. When I travel for work, I can choose what to eat a bit more freeley :)

My expense card Is readily abused when I'm traveling too! I have $150 a day limit. You know how much/what I can eat for $150 a day?
Sometimes I think how much the company could save if we weren't allotted that much but hey! At least they take care of us when traveling.

Last year we had a managers meeting in Vegas for a week and the SR VP put $1,000,000 on his card!! Needless to say...we had FUN

Don't get too impressed. It wasn't just me. There were 30 of us: rooms at the Venitian for a week, meals, drinks, gambling allowance, shows, conference rooms everyday, and some opted strips (not me of course....I'm an upstanding citizen that doesn't like to take advantage of naked women), and air fare.

There were only two guys arested and only 1 went to the hospital. All in all it was a successful conference. I'm pretty sure I learned something...I just can't remember what that was :D:D

Whoops, yeah that is on the door. Not at all flappy! I'd rather line-x that, after the paint gets trashed.

Are there a whole bunch of those? I think I saw a thing on tv about that place. A shit ton of mirrors all reflecting the sun to one massive collector.

I picked up a brand new stiffer sequoia front sway bar for $70 today. Gonna swap it out after Moab and see if it makes a difference with the trac crap.

Those were the only three we saw I imagine/hope there are many of them. I saw a documentary on them as well. Parabolic mirrors that all focus the sunlight onto those pillars to heat up liquid gas(not sure what kind) and run generators. I think I remember that they are able to store the heat and use it throughout most of the night also. Really cool!

Somewhere west of Vegas on i15, around Primm I believe.

Finally sold my chrome grille and hood bulge today after months of trying. $200 was the best I could get for it. But it's gone now. Moving on the rest of the parts laying around I gotta still move.

Believe it or not, the wife got that from the passenger seat, out the front window at 70mph... with her iPhone. Then I cropped it a bit to lose the headliner. Here is the original.
