    Sounds like a wicked combo!

I like how you qualified it as "mildly" jazzy lol. Reminds me of an Inbetweeners episode when they are being fitted for suits and shirts for prom. Great show introduced to be by my mate in the UK.

Hell no. Smaller bed, more cramped rear seating & longer nose...I'll be looking for a 2021 or a 2018 if my 2008 ever dies.

I think I'm going to do the 1794 short box with saddle tan interior and wind chill pearl ext. Tempted to do black ext but those clear coat swirls will drive me ape. I was hot and heavy for the TRD Pro until all the interior camp settled in. Just can't do that much camp. Plus, the trd pro isn't leather. I think the wind chill pearl will be legit with the front windows tinted.

In the very unlikely event that the economic conditions and vehicle supply vs demand and price come back to normal:

I will order or find a TRD Pro in Solar Octane because my 4 year old son loves any car or truck that is in any shade of orange. I could care less what color, but to him getting to pick is the best thing ever.

TRD Pro because I want the shock and suspension upgrade without air suspension, I want the power, I want a crew cab short bed, and I work on call 24/7 and drive in very dark rural areas with a lot of deer and elk wandering around at night so that integrated light bar has my attention. Plus it comes with Falken Wildpeak AT/3W's and they're severe snow service rated and that means I don't have to immediately put winter tires on once the snow flies.

I'm waiting until ALL competitive half ton pickups are actually in production before making a decision. Even then, I'm cross shopping the half ton pickups with full size SUVs like the GMC Yukon Denali and updated 2022 Ford Expedition:

    - 2022 Toyota Tundra
    - updated 2022 GMC Sierra 1500
    - 2022 Ford F150

Ford has just upped the incentives on the F150 to $1k back and 0% for 72 months. I think their strategy is to try and lock in customers that are willing to wait 3-6 months for delivery instead of just letting those buyers go out to a GM or Toyota dealer to try out a new 1/2 ton pickup.

My personal feeling is that if you can wait 6 months, you'll be in a much better position as a consumer.

The Platinum has color matched door handles and mirror caps, and a dark chrome grille and surround. The 1794 is shiny chrome all over. That's how the 1794 is ugly. Disappointing, since you can get the TRD Offroad on the 1794.

Depending on price and exactly what options are available, I like either the Pro in black or white or the Platinum in windchill pearl or mgm. Could possibly go down to a Limited TRD Offroad in mgm.

My dealer contacted me and I put a refundable $500 down on a
    2022 TUNDRA 4X4
    SR5 CREWMAX in Lunar Rock
    Sport & 5.5 ft Bed
Delivery late Nov...........No pricing is the weirdest thing of all

I currently have a 2011 Tundra with 37,000 miles in black and like it. I was surprised that I couldn't even change the color. I'm excited to see it and hope it knocks me over......here are the add-ons

End of October and still no pricing in infuriating.

I think this is flat out insulting! Can you imagine agreeing to this in a meeting of suits........we'll choose the complete truck, send one per dealer, get them to call interested customers to put down a deposit and not give them a price........any questions?......Joe Blow.....do you think the customer will think that you could not care any less about them?

Toyota should have told dealers to not accept pre-orders/deposits until prices were announced.

I will not order my Tundra until the configurator and prices are online.

edit: In reality I'll probably wait until my local dealer has them in stock. They've always been great at stocking up on SR5s with popular packages.

I scheduled my lease to end in Sep so I could trade in and get the new one. Went to the dealer looking for info. They placed an order and expecting then mid Nov. Went to another dealer and a complete different story. They are just playing with customers. Unbelievable!! Is that what they should be doing? The second dealer told be that it will be more like Dec!!!!!
I just bought out my leased truck. I will wait until all this BS goes away and then make a decision. I would not give a dealer a deposit hoping to get it back. One last thing…Im really jealous!!!!

I'd do what David Chao is doing...buy the Windchill truck and trade it in later next year when the Pro comes out. ;)

I'm waiting on the 2023 Sequoia

Crewmax SR5 4×4. TRD OR if doesn't subtract too much from payload.

I was really hoping for the Pro in Solar, but I’m getting scared about the price, so now I’m looking at the Limited with TRD OR package in red (Supersonic Red or whatever it was called). I just really love that red interior on the Pro, but I’m not sold on the hybrid. As long as I can still get the panoramic sunroof, roll down rear window, power seats/ power pedals, and the 14” screen, I guess I’m happy. I can probably do all the other stuff aftermarket somehow.

Rough Country shocks, ReTrax cover, Summo springs, black out badging, bed extender, "some other things I can't mention"
I'm going to buy the limited addition that comes with the 5.7 V8 supercharged with full length header exhaust system, 3 inch lift, full race double shock at every corner Bilsteins, 10 speed with separate coolers for transmission and differentials.
Krell sound system, center console set up full tactical with magnetic gun holders at every seat, Retrax Titainium electronically controlled bed cover, chameleon camo wrap (changes pattern to match where your driving.)

    What? they don't offer that?
I guess I'm not getting one then...

I am interested in the hybrid as I tow a camper and would like to improve the gas mileage. I like the white TRDPro with black interior and everything that comes with it. However, the Limited TRD OR has the Trailer Backup Guide system and Straight Path Assist. I'm also not crazy about all the chrome on the Limited but know I could eventually change that. I also would want to add some of the items that are standard on the Pro. Wonder and would appreciate if anyone has any feedback regarding these two choices.

I will wait for the specifications for the trucks to be available before deciding on anything. Gears, fuel tank capacity, and locking rear differential, are critical for any truck I buy. I also want a 6.5 ft bed so I have 8 feet available with the tailgate lowered and this means the double cab with past Tundra trucks.

I placed deposit for crew max sr5 sport with long bed and 14 inch screen.

dealer called and said no dice, spot won’t be made with long bed, and no 14 inch screens are being put in Sr5 (right now)

so I changed order to limited crewmax 6.5 bed with OR package. I wanted tow mirrors got same answer, not right now. Wanted bed step not available.

apparently Toyota is limiting what dealers can select. Also I was told every limited gets spray in bed liner weather I want it or not.

refundable deposit for any reason and paying $500 under MSRP. Was told wait could be 4 months
