Sorry again Andy. It’s tough. Miss my FIL every day… it’s been almost 6-1/2 years.

 

Damn man sorry. Hopefully the wife is doing ok.

 

This turned out awesome.

 

I think what makes it worse is 1/2 the family dealing with covid as he was hospitalized, preventing my wife from being able to see him for almost a month. She cleared quarantine and made it to the hospital 30 minutes before he passed.

 

Not skittles.

I keep telling her he was waiting on her to say goodbye. He fought cancer for a few years, but was doing ok, it was a sudden , rapid decline that took us off guard.

Similar to Christal City Restaurant in northern Virginia. When the government workers in Christal City say they're going for lunch at the CCR, they're going for the steak special. The strippers are just a sidebar.

 

I’ve only been to one strip club in my life, in Miami fir my buddy’s bachelor party. I figured being In an area like south beach we’d have some top talent. I was very disappointed. Saw much more and better at some of the clubs.

 

There’s so much talent in Miami the strippers are just leftovers.

Been to my share of strip clubs. Best one, believe it or not was out in the middle of nowhere northern Wisconsin. The owner would bring in girls from the twin cities and set them up with a place to stay and a tubing trip down the river. They loved it. That’s where I met skittle girl. The bouncer was a bulldog and it was 5$ to get in.

But word is, the PNW has a few as well.

 

In my early 20’s, I worked overnights at a rest stop along I90, between Boston and Albany. Always around 4AM a group of girls(varied all the time) would roll in and fill up. Always paid in singles with glitter on them.

There was one night they didn’t have enough $, but offered a free show for a full tank. They got their full tank, and I have some nice memories

 

I remember this happening. Was a formative moment in my life when my dad told me that the way the dollar amount was figured was the average coffee sales for Mcds as a corporation for a 24 hr period. Or maybe it was a week, I dont recall or even know if it was accurate. That day started my general dislike of corporate America and to this day is one of the reasons I try to buy local first.

 

24 hours - they awarded her the avg amount of the daily coffee revenue.

 

So sorry for your loss.
MY FIL passed last October.
Wife was pissed they wouldn't let her into the hospital because of , well you know.
Great that your wife got to tell him goodbye..
