2019 High pitch squeal when pinned

When floored in a tunnel with tow haul mode, after about 3 seconds and picking up a good head of steam, a high pitch squeal will be audible with the exhaust note.

I don't get this squeal when reving, or at a dig. Or normal driving (that I can hear). It's only when I start getting up to speed and from what I can tell, when I'm wide open. At first I thought it was my tires on concrete?? I also don't hear the squeal during the deceleration of the pull.

I have 33s with less than 8k miles on them. 19,7xx on the odometer.

Thoughts?

 

There’s a screen in the intake that causes sounds like you are describing. Some people have removed the screen and reported that the noise can no longer be heard.

 

I remember reading about that screen and the noise, but didn't put two and two together. Thanks! I'll check that out.
