Is the color matched hood bulge taped? Bought this from @Roman not quite 2 years ago

It looks like double sided tape that is coming loose...maybe not. I noticed it yesterday for the first time. On the two corners (see pics above) it is noticeably separated and raised as compared to the hood. But, then a little while later, it was back down again. Same as now, I took the above pics about 4.5hrs ago and now they're back down again like nothing is wrong.

If you look closely at the first pic, you can see how it's lifted. Is the bulge all one piece, or is the outer painted section attached to an inner core piece? I'm guessing it's two pieces, and SR trim trucks are black, some are chrome, and others are painted plastic.

Mine was the exact same way out of the box. I thought I installed it wrong. Took it back off and noticed that there was a rubber strip along the leadership by edge of the bulge where it contacts the metal hood. It seemed like it wasn't seated in the corners of the bulge completely.

I put it back on and decided to watch it to see if the head would allow it to seat properly. Not sure how long it took but it's been on for a couple months and fits fine.

Thanks...I've had mine for 2 years, on two different trucks and it just started. I'll just keep an eye out.

I think you should take it off and make sure you installed is properly and check the gasket like Brandon said.

Yeah, I'm gonna do that. The dealer actually pulled it off my old truck and installed it on the new ones hen I traded up. I should've just done it myself
